2023 is right around the corner. So with that being said, I thought I would help some of you with choices for your #PLC books. In the comments will be some suggestions. I did also add books we have already read for our group.... that is for people that haven't read it yet or want to do a reread. Good Luck and here's to a wonderfully read year.

DNF @ 86%. A friend gave me this to read so I tried to read most of it. In the end, I just found myself not caring about any of the characters or the plot.

I love these books so much! I‘m sad this series is over, but I‘ll definitely be reading more by Laurenston.

This was a hilarious and unexpected dinosaur adventure/romance. Simon is a nerdy paleontologist who gets caught in the cross hairs of an attempted robbery of his prized fossil. He is stuck on the run with said fossil and his protector, Dalton, his polar opposite: impulsive, loud, with a bright pink mohawk and the ability to shift into a dinosaur. I loved the mix of humor, suspense, and romance in this and can't wait to continue the series.

Kenyazero This sounds delightfully ridiculous! 3mo

So i can't exactly say it was good... there were way more characters than necessary, quite a few plotholes and questions that never got answered... but it was funny and i liked all the chaotic characters. All of the "Honey badger don't give a shit" jokes were great!

rockpools I just… I mean… I might have to read it! 4mo
Johanna414 @rockpools i started reading it as a joke because my sister and i had just been reminiscing about the honey badger video... was surprised to actually kind of like it! 🤣 4mo

This was just okay. I think maybe I was not in the mood for it but I wanted a palette cleanser from my last heavy read before I jumped into another potential heavy read. I can‘t say I paid a lot of attention to the beginning but I was fully invested in the last 25-30%. I loved Jim‘s friendship with the wolf who‘s name I cannot remember and I liked his chemistry with Lillie. Solid 3 star read.
