Rating: 5/5 stars.

I do not have rich people problems because I am not rich but I tell you, grab this book, read, fall in love with characters and pretend you are one of them. Have fun.

My sister, her husband, the #manpanion and I are going on a cruise next month. It's the “we all survived cancer“ tour.
I'm trying to decide what books to take. Here are some of my choices. I will also need some audio books.
The tagged book is perfect escapism. Escaping from Houdini is ON a cruise ship,
And, there is a knitting group on board, so The Vampire Knitting Club is a good choice.
I want fun and not too deep for the trip. Thoughts?

ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled ☝️ thought that may fit the bill too! Enjoy your trip!! ❤️❤️ 3w

About 150 pages in, and I just don't want this series to end, which is surprising considering the first book took a while to suck me in.

Super enjoyable 3rd book in the series. Very fun and well written. I really like listening to this series. It comes together well and is easier to read. Definitely a fun book!

Although many of the experiences Kwan narrates are not ones that everyday people experience, he is able to capture the universal experience of losing a loved one. Sadness, grief, and family shenanigans arise as the Young family deals with the loss of Su Yi - I was brought to tears multiple times through this book, both from sadness and laughter!

I got this audiobook back off hold from the library a few days ago, so I can finish it at last! Don't you hate when you can't finish a book before it returns and you have to wait a month to get it back? I have an hour left after my run today, so I'll easily finish it this time around. I've enjoyed reading this trilogy so much! They're not 5⭐ for me, but they're very fun for an #audiorun. 👍 #BFC #BookFitnessChallenge #BFCr3 #bookdragons

My Runkeeper messed up (I think the app crashed?) and stopped my run (top left), so I had to restart the tracker while running to record the second half of my run today (bottom left). On the bright side it gave me the chance to really push myself for those last 2 miles and go faster! I found the Berkeley Rose Garden, and you can see the Golden Gate bridge in the distance. #audiorun #BFC #BFCr3 #BookFitnessChallenge #bookdragons

Yesterday: listened to Rich People Problems during my morning run and during my weight workout, but couldn't listen during stretch class, haircut and lunch with my brother, packing, and planning Bible study for today, so it returned with several hours left. I'll get it back in about 5 weeks! The anticipation is killing me. 😂 Great day though. 👍 #BFC #BFCr2 #BookFitnessChallenge #BookNerdHerd #audiorun @wanderinglynn

Tomato sandwich break from packing. 😋 Duke's mayonnaise and homegrown tomatoes, what a perfect summer sandwich. 😍 Trying to be more intentional today about breaks from the craziness of packing. 👍 Listening to the tagged book whenever I'm doing something mindless, but I keep having to pause it to make lists and think about what to pack!

Got in a morning run (with a couple walk and potty breaks) before this cutie headed to the vet! He's there now, and hopefully being chill. 80s°F and humid and sunny, so we were glad to get in the air conditioning and drink water afterwards! 30 min 2.2 miles #audiorun. He was so sweet - happily looking up at me while we ran with his tongue hanging out. 😍❤️ #dogsoflitsy #bostonterriersoflitsy #Pippin #BFC #BFCr2 #BookFitnessChallenge #BookNerdHerd

A good conclusion to the Crazy Rich Asians series. I wished there had been more of Nick and Rachel, as the first book had, but since the storyline was more about the family as a whole, I can‘t complain. 4 ⭐️ #bookreviews

I had a migraine on Sunday and almost again on Monday, and between that and hormones I'm in a funk today. Feeling anxious, weepy, drained. My #audiorun was great though! Now I have a long to-do list and noisy construction on the other side of my wall. Gonna schedule in self-care time later today. 💪😊 #BFC #BFCr2 #BookFitnessChallenge #BookNerdHerd @wanderinglynn

I can‘t find the library copy I signed out. I think I brought it back to another library system that has a reciprocal relationship with my primary public library about 2 weeks ago. So I purchased the book so I can finish it. I wanted to read it today. The other book is Washington Black, if you‘re interested.

Rich People Problems is the last book in Kevin Kwan's Crazy Rich Asians trilogy. It is probably the best of the three books but still has a lot of pitfalls. The character development is lacking. The plot is solely driven by the opulence and drama.

An unpopular opinion, I'm sure, but this just felt like more of the same and was much longer than it needed to be. At one point I was just over the excess chatter about random rich people things that don't actually serve the plot (and honestly there's not much plot to speak of). The last 15% picked up, but man I was on the struggle bus getting there. Still written well, so if you really enjoyed the first two this should be fine.

I read the first two books in this series a while back and felt like I'd overdosed on the descriptions of obscene wealth, needing a break. Finally getting around to reading the last book of the trilogy (aka my library hold came through) and I'm having a hard time keeping the family tree straight! 😆

StephanieMarie The family tree at the beginning was my best friend with this series! Lol 6mo
swishandflick @StephanieMarie I read the first two in print and it was SO much easier to flip back and forth! 6mo

There was a lot to wrap up in the final book so some parts seemed a tiny bit rushed. Still, a fun ride from start to finish. I liked that the tone was a bit more serious in parts, addressing some historical aspects that were previously lost to the insanity of the ultra rich.

This book has it all! While remaining fun and witty it also explores deeper topics and takes a moral stance. I recommend googling the family tree because it can get quite confusing with all the characters coming into play. This is currently the last in this series but I would read 10 more if Kevin Kwan chose to write them. Very well done.

One of the challenges for #MMDchallenge this year was to read three books by the same author, and I read all three of this series. I didn‘t enjoy this installment quite as much as the other two, but the ending was perfect.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️📕2019.04.05. The pic is a few days old (I treated myself to lunch at PF Chang‘s). I‘m so sad to see this series come to an end. A great series overall with multiple plot lines that held their own (and adequately wrapped up in the end). This will become a gifting favorite because I want everyone to read it!

A nice relaxing morning finding out what happens in the last book. Also I love Nick and Rachel, but Astrid and Charlie are for me the real main relationship of the trilogy! I just love them so much ( Astrid is my favourite) and hope it all works out for them.

Forcing myself to put this down so I can do grad school work, but it has been nice not reading something for school. Blazed through the first two books and looking forward to finishing the last one. Kwan's satirical voice is a bit frustrating to get used to, but eventually you appreciate it.

I've just finished the trilogy and I quite liked it. The book was like a roller coaster ride, it had it's ups and downs, especially in the start. The book really started to pick it's pace and plot up towards the end, and that actually improved the overall rating. The book really showcases the real selves of all the characters.
PS- What a character Su Yi was!😉

Reading a little bit of everything simultaneously before I start Rich People Problems. Finished Undead Girl Gang last night, and while I found certain plot points predictable, I loved Mila's snarky POV and the overall story.
