I came across several relics of the past this afternoon, including this summer reading list from 1991, when I was 13. It runs to 55 titles over three pages, and I have little to no recollection of any of the books on the list, other than Sideways Stories from Wayside School which shows up at number 50 😆 Any of these ring a bell for anyone else?!

I‘ve been intrigued by the way people think since I was a teenager. I made a professional career out of dissecting people‘s faulty thinking and teaching them how to challenge those irrational thoughts. I‘m always interested in learning more thinking errors for my own growth as well as the population I serve. Dobelli examines the cognitive biases we engage on a daily basis. I can definitely see how a physical copy of this book would be helpful.

IuliaC Great review and lovely photo! I've got this book on my to read list too 3mo

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This little #nonfiction book really does a good job of laying out poor arguments and flimsy reasoning.
It's a quick but informative read that will broaden your understanding of solid conversation skills.

Adding this #nonfiction book to my #TBR stack. Found it in a local bookshop.
A cute little book with seriously important information.

@TheAromaofBooks created a sort of choose-your-own adventure except with reading prompts. Below is a link to a spreadsheet where each cell is a step in the maze.

All the cells are blacked out so you must un-highlight to see the other prompts (you have to save a copy in order to use the maze). You can leave it that way, or un-highlight the entire thing. You can use one book per square or go as far as you can with that book. However works for you!

LitsyEvents @TheAromaofBooks You are challenge-bananas, so I check on your feed occasionally to see what you're doing this week. 😉 😁 9mo
suvata I am a sucker for these kind of things. So, I am in. I think I will start right after I finish the book I am reading right now which, unfortunately, doesn‘t fit into the first three categories. This sounds really fun. Thanks for creating it. 9mo
TheAromaofBooks @LitsyEvents - I think “challenge-bananas“ is a fair assessment! 😂 9mo
