The baby really liked this one and sat quietly and looked at it for several minutes turning the pages back and forth. The art is cute and it was fun trying to find the 8 animals, especially on the more crowded pages.

The bookstore in the fire-ravaged village of Cobargo, New South Wales, has a new sign outside: “Post-Apocalyptic Fiction has been moved to Current Affairs.”
The photo above is of the historic village of Cobargo, at the end of December. I am thinking of everyone affected by the wildfires in Australia. My heart is sad.
