Omg, you guys! These 4 bears (1 mama, 3 cubs) were just in our backyard! I (cautiously) followed at a distance...and here they are climbing up onto our neighbor‘s front porch!

There have been other bear sightings within the past month in this immediate area, one of which I witnessed a couple days ago.

They‘re so beautiful! 😍

Dining al fresco and listening to an audiobook with @MrBook here at the historic Dimmick Inn in Milford PA on this lovely, cool, breezy evening. There‘s a promise of fall in the air. 🍂 They recently put in a big fancy wood-burning pizza oven, so we decided to try their margherita pizza. Yum! 👌🏻 Happy reads and happy eats!

Had some visitors just as the thunderstorm arrived...2 does, one young buck, and 3 adorable little fawns! 😍 I couldn‘t get a pic of them all together, they won‘t stay still. Lol. 🦌

#BookNDinner! A delightful meal for this pleasant evening. Pan-seared salmon with sautéed spinach and tomatoes, and fingerling potatoes. Paired with a refreshing ginger beer. MMMMmmmm ?! Happy reads & happy eats!

Too bad there was a wait for outside seating, but indoors is nice too. This old inn in this charming 1769-founded Poconos town has been serving for over 200 years straight! ??

🎨Painted this alla prima plein air oil painting yesterday from the back porch. Cold! But worth it. ❄️ Listened the audiobook of the tagged book while painting. I prefer when the book matches what I‘m painting (listening to The Snow Child would‘ve been more fitting) but I need to finish this book by Sunday for our NYC book club, so no time to mess around! 🎧 This book seems quite good so far.

No book, just #dinner! #StPatricksDay Edition! What a wonderful meal, lovely lively atmosphere, great music, delicious beer. A scrumptious potato leek soup prefaced this exquisite meal, followed by perfectly done classic corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes. Absolutely marvelous! Paired with a glass of Smithwick‘s. Then a shared brownie sundae for dessert. A simply delightful evening! Hope you enjoyed your day too!😊☘️ Happy reads and happy eats! 😋

#BookNBreakfast! Listening to this audiobook in a cozy corner of a quaint cafe, sipping a delicious hot Stumptown coffee, and indulging in this glorious egg sandwich.
