4 🌟
This book was so much fun. It is very inclusive. Margo is bi, and the rest of the team is gay. And it just is. No explanation needed, no excuses, it just is, deal with it. (Love that). It also hits every point to be labeled a SAGA (sexual and gender acceptance) read.
I hope the author makes it a series for new adults. I could see the team becoming spies, or secret operatives. I think they could do it, forwards, backwards, and in heels.

I am officially a Murderbot fan! This book packs so much into just a few pages.
Its a quick read that will have you glued to the pages and screaming for more. Murdotbot, just might have a heart and I want to see it develop. And see what type of trouble he can get himself into.

shanaqui I juuuust reread this today! I love Murderbot's snarky “aarrgggh people noooo“ reactions.

(Sidenote: I find it really odd when people call Murderbot “he“ -- or she! I'm fairly sure it states pronouns as “it“, and I've managed to log those even though so very few *people* use that for themselves. Gave me a jolt just now reading this review/comments. 😅)

LibrarianRyan @shanaqui your right. You are very right. It is an It. It‘s odd how we automatically gender. Especially when he talks about having no sex parts because he‘s not a f$&@ bot. 1w
Saw629 Would you recommend this book to someone who peruses sci-fi books, but isn‘t huge into them? 1w
LibrarianRyan @Saw629 I think I would. It takes place on a Tera firma but it‘s more an action/thriller. Murderbot is a security guard who has a job to do. Plus it‘s short. It isn‘t bogged down like many sci-fi are. Researchers are on a new world determining what it is, so the author doesn‘t have to delve too much into the world. Plus it‘s a great character study. It‘s easy to forget murderbot isn‘t a “man” because it feels like one. 1w

Interesting novel. The story of what happens to a family after their 13-year-old daughter disappears and returns 8 years later. Definitely suspenseful as the story kept confusing me (in a good way) and changing my mind about what I thought was happening. #MountTBR #LitsyAtoZ #LetterG

My first Isabel Allende novel and I loved it! A teenage girl in San Francisco runs an online game called Ripper with a small group of friends from across the world and her grandpa. They work to solve real life murders. She never expects her game to impact her life until her mom disappears. I really enjoyed the thorough character development of her writing. 4 1/2 🌟 #MountTBR

NatalieR @SilversReviews Thanks! 😊 2w
Hooked_on_books This is the only one of hers I‘ve read as well. I liked it. I‘m told it‘s quite different from her other books, so I have no idea what to expect from those. 2w
NatalieR @Hooked_on_books Interesting. I put some of her other books on my Overdrive wishlist. Hopefully I‘ll get to them soon. 😬 2w
