wanderinglynn @Pigpen_Reads @Chrissyreadit if you‘re new to cross stitch, I might recommend a stamped (or “no count”) kit. The image is stamped on the adia cloth, so you just follow the colors and don‘t have to count. 2y

Catsandbooks @Pigpen_Reads Like others said any craft store should have beginner kits. If you want to make this pattern. The directions as well as a list of supplies are provided with the pattern download. 2y

Catsandbooks @CrowCAH no problem! You can still make the pattern on your own if you want. I think I'm actually going to start it before the zoom event anyway! 2y

Catsandbooks @vlwelser 😂😂 you can totally replace the cat with something else. Books, a plant, a mug, whatever. I make up my own rules anyway and will probably do it in different colors. But yes you do have that epic project! Can't wait to see the progress! 2y

Texreader I can‘t do that kind of cross-stitch sadly because it‘s too small for my eyes. I‘ll bring my embroidery to the event. 2y

rockpools I fell down a VERY lovely (expensive!) Etsy crafty rabbit hole there! I can‘t join you ‘live‘, but I‘ve just invested (!) in a beautiful blackwork kit for my next project (never tried that before). And I‘m going to try and finish my current project before you meet. rockpools I think blackwork is like cross stitch but you make little patterns with the stitches, rather than crosses. 2y

Lauredhel I can‘t cross stitch… I‘ve tried! Holding the tiny needle doesn‘t work for my hands. But I‘ll keep posting my crochet work to the hashtag :) 2y
