Settled in to watch my Hallmark movie and just realized as I took this photo with 5 minutes to go...I‘m watching Lifetime 😂 I thought it was meh, now it makes sense. Thankfully Rediscovering Christmas still counts as a #holidaymovie 🤪 #wintergames #TeamNutcracker

TEArificbooks I did like Christmas Pen Pals in Lifetime the other day though. It is the only one I like so far from that channel. But I don‘t watch many cause I am a Hallmark addict and there is only so many hours in the day 4y

I‘ve been doing this obnoxious thing lately, where I wait until I‘m done with a book to post all of the quotes. No one‘s ever explicitly told me that it‘s poor Litsy etiquette, but instinct tells me that clogging up people‘s feeds with a slew of back-to-back posts prolly ain‘t cool. OOPS. Last year I upgraded to a Kindle Voyage, but I don‘t like the way the buttons work and other stuff. Sooooo ... as soon as I opened the email about the new Paperwhite, I jumped right on it. I‘m trading in my Voyage and paying in installments. Yippee!!

Kaye I‘ve been pondering trading my PW in, hoping they‘d make one that works with Audible. I may just jump on this one myself. Thinking on it. Wish it came in white , but that‘s no dealbreaker. 6y

Maewyn The fire is okay but I need a new cover. The magnet on the current one is so strong that when I flip the front back behind to read on it the magnet makes the device think the cover is on it and it shuts it off. I have to use it with the cover flapping loose currently so I find myself reading on my phone. 6y

I do have the good sense to feel a little sheepish but this is what happens if you live in a country with import restrictions & appalling Amazon then go home for the worst trip ever (stress buying + collecting orders = tower of glory). Trip was a disaster. Made it through the wedding then, in just under two weeks, lost two beloved pets, had a major health scare (94yo Grandma), minor one (idiot husband who swam in the Ganges just before we left),⬇️

GlassAsDiamonds a wildlife debacle (just after finding much beloved Pet 2 had passed, a beautiful green bird my very squishy hearted brother had been feeding flew into the new glass pool fence and died), tech couldn‘t be fixed & can‘t be replaced in India, contacts order didn‘t come in & now needs to be shipped to Singapore & I left my current Oz bank card on my desk in Mumbai. Oh, and cat boarding was NOT flawless. Excuse me but I need to go hug my tower. 6y

Kaye Wow. Those family events can get that way. I‘ve had many that I wanted to snatch myself, or someone else , bald headed. I‘ll take staying home by myself any day. Too much drama. We don‘t have any pets that‘d die, and no grandparents left since the 1980s. Almost every family event we used to have , I was sick as a dog,waiting for someone to flap their lips 👄 to someone else which ended in this 😤😠😡🤬🤯😱🤢 6y
