An English lawyer in Moscow finds himself at the centre of two elaborate con tricks at extreme ends of the scale. Told in the form of a letter to his new partner its a confession by a man who knows he has morally crossed a rubicon making for a very unlikeable character but a bk I found i wanted to read despite how obvious the scam was .
Great sense of place + enjyd the moral dilemma.
A bit late for snowdrops so daisys will have to do.

Well... #bookfitnesschallenge Littens, I had every intention on taking a nice long walk after getting groceries today. Walked into the store, it was 7 degrees and overcast. Half an hour later....it's 2 degrees and f**king SNOWING!! š¤¬š�¶š�

Atmospheric crime story set in Moscow: 'snowdrop' is slang for a corpse revealed when the snow melts. I listened to the audiobook the last time I was in Slovakia (2012) and happened to see it in a bookstore in Bratislava. #setinEasternEurope
