It's wonderful how Wells continues to keep the tone and the plot development without loosing the quality of the storytelling ❤

Another excellent entry in the Murderbot Diaries. Not much I think I can add to the SecUnit love others have expressed. Looks like I'll be ordering the next installment soon! 🩶🤖🩶
This series is slowly but surely improving. There's a tiny fraction of character development on the human part, but on Murderbot's part as well, which is a pleasant surprise.
It's nice knocking these out when I'm questing in MMOs
This one was very compelling! Some really character development here as Murderbot returns to the crew they left behind & takes a less avoidant approach to the conflict
In the 4th installment Murderbot meets back up with its original crew and continues to question the nature of its existence. I‘ve been loving these as novellas, and I think this is the last short installment, so we‘ll see if I like the story as much in long form going forward…
This series just keeps getting better. I love seeing Murderbot‘s growing understanding of humans and watching it navigate all these new environments and relationships. I think this my favorite so far.
Finished this and wanted to go into the next one immediately. Re-listening to them all has been helping me get the overarching story straight in my head. I really enjoy Murderbot‘s voice and internal monologue and I am very much dreading the screen adaptation (based on what we know so far, massive side-eye).
Just finished the 4th of the novellas in the Murderbot series! Yeah. Overall, it's an entertaining series to read (didn't like much the 2nd one). I may try later the first novel in the series, but I actually liked that they were novellas... Probably because I'm not a big fan of sci-fi. But I'm curious about the evolution of Murderbot. We'll see, so many books I want to read.

I'm loving this series ?? and they're making it into a TV show!

Wanted to write #ARC reviews on #NetGalley to erode #MountARC, but #GhostCat has other ideas. Guess I have to browse NetGalley and request more ARCs. ?
Good thing the laptop can play an #audiobook. Listening to the tagged "Graphic Audio" - was just released.

5/5⭐ The contrast between Murderbot's antisocial thoughts and protective actions. The dynamics between it and the original crew from book one, especially Dr. Mensah. *chef's kisses all around* This series is a gift. Excuse me I'm having an emotion.
I‘d love to travel to space & other worlds! 🚀🪐👽
A bit of a late start to the weekend. Luckily it‘s a 3-day weekend! Here are my #weekendreads
An installment of Murderbot was just the thing I needed after trudging through Midnight‘s Children!
Another great Murderbot adventure - getting the gang back together 🙌🏻
#SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView
Like these short reads between my big book reads. 😜. This one is a good setup for the next diary. Love Murderbot.
Book number 4 in the series finally sees Murderbot reunited with Dr. Mensah and the Preservation Team. Their group dynamics are still complicated, and their shared history creates mixed emotions - and of course, Murderbot hates feeling emotions 😁. Another great installment, and another action-packed adventure!
Finished another Murderbot novella on cleaning day, what a surprise ... I love Murderbot and I will not be taking questions at this time
Another great adventure for Murderbot, this time saving some old friends. I am savoring this series and love listening to another novella installment. 5⭐️
#fabulousfebruary #roll100 read done!
When Murderbot‘s former client/friend/owner? gets kidnapped by GrayCris, it travels across the universe to rescue her.
In addition for berating itself for getting her kidnapped in the first place since it‘s trip to Milu was the fuse that set off GrayCris‘ desperate plan.
Finished 3/4/2022
The BEST of the series so far. Such a good time: great action and snark and wholesomeness as usual, and a particular series of events distinguishing it from the status quo of others in the series that really worked for me. On to the next!
Poor, confused, sad beepy machine babies! 🥹

Murderbot gets better with each story. This is another fast paced, fun adventure were Murderbot proves yet again why it is far better than any human, or any AI.
I really enjoyed having Murderbot and Dr. Mensah together again. This book had a great ending, but knowing there are two other books I'm excited to see what Murderbot gets involved in next.
Can‘t go wrong with the Sec-Unit! I love it (them?) sm. There are more books in the series - currently on hold at the library - but I think this was the last one Wells was involved in? Looking forward to the next book but also a bit apprehensive abt it… but so far, can‘t rly fault this series!

The best characters from the first book were back in this one, which was great. The plot, however, felt a little too similar to the plots of the earlier books.
Many thanks to @LittleMouse5708 and timely book deliveries - I get to hang out with Murderbot during my breaks today! ❤

I haven't read many E books so I've gone with a mid-series Murderbot book as my favourite

In which Murderbot has a finally confrontation with GrayCris, we reunite with Mensa and her team, and unfettered capitalism continues to be the absolute worst!
An excellent conclusion to the series of novellas! Everything answered that I needed, reunions with my favorite side characters, breathless action scenes, character growth, and enough of an opening for the novel to do something new! The audiobook narration is also excellent! 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
Another action packed Murderbot novella. In this one, Murderbot is reunited with Dr. Mensah and her team. It has some really sweet, emotional moments (poor Murderbot), but also some great fight scenes. I‘m looking forward to the full-length novel next.
Read the final proof of my almost published magazine article then crushed Murderbot 3 & 4 while grocery shopping 🤖 these books are so satisfying! I love the action sequences but it‘s really about analyzing how evil corp. is going to be evil this time 😈 ordering takeout so I can read books 4.5 & 5 in the series tonight 📸 by Cara of Chickpea Magazine
Off to a great start with all these ~4h audios 😁
I can't press the pick button hard enough. My favorite in the series so far. I never thought I would be so emotionally invested in a Murderbot!
I love how actually Dr Mensah and the others are better friends than Murderbot thinks they'll be, and then it has an emotion about it.
“Did they think I was a human? That was just stressful, I didn‘t want to pretend to be human right now.” #imitation #QuotsySep21
Here‘s my board for September! @TheAromaofBooks I‘ve already finished Exit Strategy, my #bookspin pick—it was great!
Question for others who have read this series—I saw that the next in publication order is the novel, Network Effect, but that the more recent Fugitive Telemetry is the next chronologically. Which should I read next?
August wrap up! 15 books! (5 from the library, 2 off my shelves, 1 audio book and 7 ebooks)
I feel accomplished, I feel like September is the month I could turn my goodreads challenge around 🥳
#LittensDressedInBlood Mad About Plaid — I‘ve only just started this book, but I‘m confident someone is or will be really mad soon!
“Disinformation, which is the #same as lying but for some reason has a different name, is the top tactic in corporate negotiation/warfare. (There had been a whole episode about it on Sanctuary Moon.)” #QuotsyAug21
Did I make myself a bowl of popcorn at 2am and pick up Exit Strategy?! 🍿 I did! Only excellent late night reading choices over here!
Loved this instalment as the original crew have a reunion of sorts, complete with sneaky manoeuvring and battle sequences worthy of MurderBots entertainment feed.
As usual, I loved it! Another strong addition to the series and it was better than the last book which felt like a bridge to this story. Murderbot was as anti-social and awkward as ever and I love Murderbot so so much 🥰 The last one of the novellas before a full novel. I will miss the small easy and quick novella but I will continue the journey. Highly recommended.
I love Murderbot because it struggles to deal with things humans experience every day. It brings to light all the little stresses that add up over time and begin to compromise the way we think. But not only that, Murderbot reinforces the theme that it‘s ok to feel different. Complex feelings, awkward encounters, and sarcastic humor included. #scifi #novella
