Another action packed Murderbot novella. In this one, Murderbot is reunited with Dr. Mensah and her team. It has some really sweet, emotional moments (poor Murderbot), but also some great fight scenes. I‘m looking forward to the full-length novel next.

Read the final proof of my almost published magazine article then crushed Murderbot 3 & 4 while grocery shopping 🤖 these books are so satisfying! I love the action sequences but it‘s really about analyzing how evil corp. is going to be evil this time 😈 ordering takeout so I can read books 4.5 & 5 in the series tonight 📸 by Cara of Chickpea Magazine

StaceGhost @DivineDiana the cover has a beautiful mushroom display 🍄it could be a placeholder though now that I think about it 🤔 my article is about bento boxes 😅 1mo

I love how actually Dr Mensah and the others are better friends than Murderbot thinks they'll be, and then it has an emotion about it.

Question for others who have read this series—I saw that the next in publication order is the novel, Network Effect, but that the more recent Fugitive Telemetry is the next chronologically. Which should I read next?

RamsFan1963 I read Network Effect before Fugitive Telemetry. It was alright to me. 9mo

Did I make myself a bowl of popcorn at 2am and pick up Exit Strategy?! 🍿 I did! Only excellent late night reading choices over here!
Loved this instalment as the original crew have a reunion of sorts, complete with sneaky manoeuvring and battle sequences worthy of MurderBots entertainment feed.

As usual, I loved it! Another strong addition to the series and it was better than the last book which felt like a bridge to this story. Murderbot was as anti-social and awkward as ever and I love Murderbot so so much 🥰 The last one of the novellas before a full novel. I will miss the small easy and quick novella but I will continue the journey. Highly recommended.

RainyDayReading I love Murderbot so much! Actually, it‘s probably better for you to read the newest novella(Fugitive Telemetry) before the novel. Chronologically, Fugitive Telemetry takes place directly after the events in Exit Strategy but before Network Effect. You could still read the novel before it if you want, but just know that the new novella refers to events that occur prior to the novel. 9mo
Jgotham @RainyDayReading oh that‘s good to know! I‘ll do that 9mo

I love Murderbot because it struggles to deal with things humans experience every day. It brings to light all the little stresses that add up over time and begin to compromise the way we think. But not only that, Murderbot reinforces the theme that it‘s ok to feel different. Complex feelings, awkward encounters, and sarcastic humor included. #scifi #novella

The 4th novella wraps up the storyline covered in the 1st 3 books. The original crew is back & for that reason, it's one of my favorites so far. Dr. Mensah is being held hostage by the GrayCris company & Murderbot is on a mission to rescue her. I loved seeing Murderbot pushed farther out of its comfort zone as the story unfolds. The sarcasm & unwavering love for the serial Sanctuary Moon is always topnotch and this one does not disappoint.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another solid Murderbot story. I enjoyed Exit Strategy more so than that last book, I think because Murderbot is back with the original crew. I'm loving my journey with Murderbot and their journey of self discovery and annoying emotions. I'm looking forward to reading a full length novel with Network Effect soon.

Just finishing my re-read of the original 4 novellas and the ending is just as action packed, heart wrenching, and explosive as I remember. Now onto the full length novel! I so love sarcastic Murderbot who can look at humans objectively, but yet catches these things called emotions that still throw it for a loop when they come.

🎧 Book 4 of the Murderbot Diaries & no more are available on Hoopla. 😫

So Murderbot had travelled across the Galaxy in search of his murderous past & The Company‘s involvement. Now he‘s traveling back home to save Dr Mensah, his previous owner .. or would he call her a friend?

This little series is a quick light funny read. I‘d recommend it if you‘re between books or in a reading slump & have access to the library or one of its apps.

#BookReport - Finished 4 books this week. They were all really good!

I started The Empire of Gold last night, only about 30 pages in. I also started A Rogue of One‘s Own yesterday. I‘m about 2 hours in.

#WeeklyForecast - Hope to finish my last #LMPBC book for this round and start the Echo Wife. I have about 7 books out from the library, so I really need to get through that stack.

Drnkpnkprincess I‘m half way through The Devil and the Dark Water. I‘m so into it, I don‘t want to read it and have it end. I literally pick it up and read a chapter or two and set it down and come back for another chapter hours later. 🥸 jokes on me! 1y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For a (mostly) robot with no feelings, Murderbot is awfully protective of a certain human. This is my favorite installment so far. Much less confusing. My brain is often not too adept at visualizing science fiction stories, but I like Murderbot‘s snarkiness and disregard. Next up, the only full-length novel in the series.

I have loved seeing Murderbot‘s personality evolve over the course of these 4 novellas. They‘ve learned more about their own needs and capabilities when it comes to social interactions. And is it just me, or did they swear a lot more in this one? Lol.

after being pretty underwhelmed by rogue protocol, this was a nice return to form. I'm glad Wells not only broke out of the structure of the 2nd and 3rd novellas but she also resolved the hanging background sub-plot related to the 1st book. this is also probably peak Murderbot sass and I'm living for it.

Murderbot is on its way back to Dr Mensah but problems arise as it becomes evident though various news feeds, has been kidnapped by GrayCris and will need rescuing before the reunion can begin. Not to mention the question Murderbot keeps asking themself “Do I really want to see these people again?“ A great exploration of what it is to be human. 4.5/5 Stars.
