Netflixed: The Epic Battle for America's Eyeballs | Gina Keating

Finished all 7 episodes of this fantastic series, from Mike Flanagan, who also did the two Haunting series for Netflix. At first, you sense there is something off about the community and one of its newcomers, then becomes obvious that something more sinister is at play, and by the finale things have devolved into outright terror and violence. I was really not expecting the twist about halfway, and the balance of emotion/horror worked well.

I've been really busy at work and haven't spent much time on Litsy lately, so I may have missed the discussion, but has anyone seen this show? It's about stalking with a sort of bookish theme. It's absolutely ridiculous but I couldn't stop watching. #guiltypleasure

Cadyly It‘s a good adaptation of the book. Gives all the right creepy vibes while still making you kind of like Joe. 5y

JacqMac I just finished it last week. It was pretty good, but I liked the the book more. The book made me really like Joe. Which is just so wrong. Lol 5y

WhatThePuck @Jilly6183 No. Beck is supposed to be unlikeable so you can sympathize with Joe. I love this book. Joe will make you laugh out loud. It's a pretty short read too. Scratch that, I just checked and it's apparently 400+ pages but I swear it felt like less than 200. 🤣 5y

Checked my checking account and noticed that Netflix charged a little bit more than normal. They're charging tax now. 🙄 All my family/friends who use my Netflix account are lucky I love you guys or I'd cancel it. 😂
