GingerAntics @JazzFeathers that‘s a good question… I seem to have ideas, but not plots to go with them, so it may just be a boat load of free writes and we‘ll just see what comes out in the end. I don‘t know. 🤣😂🤣 I am definitely a pantser this year. 2y

GingerAntics @JazzFeathers I don‘t feel very confident in it, but I guess whatever happens, happens. A friend of mine has requested at least a short story from me, so I guess I always have that to fall back on. I could also finish writing last year‘s project. So I won‘t be short on things to write, that‘s for sure. 2y

Took some time out of #Scarathlon reading to start this free #nanowrimo prep course I found on insta run by #influuntpublishing I keep signing up for November nano and camp nano and then contributing nothing but I‘m determined to at least get started again! Like has been stressful between work and hubbys health issues and aside from reading, writing is something I want to get back to. Who else is writing in November?

Okay. As I read this article it made me angry. The author is kind of a dick and I don't really agree. I mean...no 'really' about it. I just don't agree.

However, by the end of the article, I saw their point (as poorly delivered as it was).

Celebrate the reader. That part I like. As we are all readers here...and encourage one another daily on being such, it makes me smile. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

I haven‘t updated in awhile, I‘ve been lucky to have time to sit down and pluck away. I didn‘t jump from my modest 6000 words to over 40k in a single day, I r just been too lazy to update. It‘s very very rough, I‘m sure I‘ll scrap a lot of it in the end but this is great progress, nevertheless!

ofclumsywords I think I have mine pretty well set. I have my main plot and characters done but I am trying not to plan any more than that because like the last few years I get writers block right away from over planning/thinking. How about you!? 6y

GingerAntics I‘m thinking if I can hold off until the 31st, then it‘s actually 1 November in New Zealand, and I have friends there, so technically it is NaNoWriMo...right?! We do it with birthdays. We all get TWO - a NZ birthday first, and a US birthday the next day!!! This works for NaNoWriMo, yes? 6y

CocoReads @catsuit_mango I actually like camp better, you set your own goals. So instead of 50000 words, I made mine 20000. Given that it‘s summer and time to play and that I hope to get and start a new job soon, I thought that was more reasonable. Go to the website and check it out. CocoReads @JazzFeathers it‘s a romance but I‘ve not gotten very far. I‘d say enemies to lovers, except that they aren‘t really enemies. I need to make Lizzie a bit more likeable though, so far she‘s being a bit of a bitch to poor Rick. (edited) 6y

dylanisreading I‘m writing a romance too! And I decided like the day before to officially sign up and literally had only a really new idea to start with. It‘s slow going, but it feels good to be writing every day. 6y

CocoReads @Bianca it does feel good—I plugged in another 1000 words after dinner but it is slow going. And romance is harder to write than one might think. Not that I‘ve gotten to any sexy fun times yet, just alluded to them, I‘ve never been good at writing them. 6y

NaNoWriMo Notes | Richard Marcus

So this is my first NaNoWriMo. I'm less nervous about the story and more nervous about the website. Do I write my story on the site? Or can I write it anywhere, post my word count, and then at the end post the story (assuming I make it 🙄 schedule for Nov is starting to pile up) I'm sure I'm sweating the small stuff, but ya know, want to be as involved as I can! #nanowrimo2017 #help

JazzFeathers Hi. Veteran Nanoer here 😊 You don't have to write your story on the site. In fact, you novel in never supposed to be published on the site. For 25 Nov you'll be able to upload the novel on the verification system. The system will verify your word count and nothing more. Of course you can write the story wheerver you want 😊 6y

Foxyfictionista I did NaNo 7 years ago. It was grueling but fun. I also learned the value of plotting before writing. (the hard way) Don't put too much pressure on yourself; it's meant to be fun!! 6y

Just a quick #NaNoWriMo check in...how are my fellow Litten Wrimos doing? I'm planning this weekend's writing right now. Going into today, I am running about a day's worth of words behind on my plan. Not too bad, considering how hard the election hit me. I hope to get caught up, and maybe a little ahead, between my writing today & tomorrow. GlitteryOtters @ValerieAndBooks I'm doing NaNoWriMo sort of as a warmup to a larger writing project I'm starting in January, so I am a bit bummed that I am not averaging more words per day than I am currently. A lot of stuff keeps getting sprung on me (for example, it turns out we will be hosting at least one guest for thanksgiving! Who knew?! Now I have to do some massive housecleaning) and I'm finding all the interruptions harder than usual. 7y
