Picked these up at the library today. I‘m thinking of rereading Heartstopper for the graphic novel and adapted into a tv series fields. Can anyone recommend a good book for set in South America or a South American author? Or any of the other categories?
Setting up my June #bookspin early as it worked surprisingly well in May to get me to read Hotel Magnifique. Or if anyone sees anything I should try to tackle earlier? @TheAromaofBooks
Finished my #bookspin. It‘s going on the keeper shelf because I‘ll probably reread it at some point, as I liked the fantasy aspect and I rushed through it this time, but I may be getting too old for these YA/teen books.
I have nieces the ages of Jani and Zosa, and I kept thinking: that‘s a little young to be on their own.
Also, the switchblade finger? What was that? (Not sexy.) Ok, rant over.

I‘m trying out finger knitting after finding this bright and fun Citrus colored loopy yarn at our new Joann store. The plan is to transport myself right to summer, but this fuzzy goodness will make a great blanket until then.
For my May #bookspin I numbered the books sitting on my TBR bookshelf.

Reading on the deck while my mom, @Pamgardens gets ready to attack the new TV Insider with the highlighter. 😂 It‘s finally Spring in Minnesota - currently 77 degrees!
“…which meant each of the county‘s twelve libraries could be open for precisely six minutes every two weeks… Using a mixture of careful planning, swiftness of foot, a robust understanding of the Dewey Decimal Book Categorisation System and with strict adherence to procedure, we could facilitate a fortnight‘s worth of returns, loans, reserves and extensions in the three hundred and sixty seconds available to us. It was known… as a Buchblitz.”
I‘m trying to use the library more, BUT what‘s a person to do when The Appeal has a waitlist?
Buy the author‘s backlist on Book Depository, apparently!🤣 I also saw she has a new one, The Christmas Appeal, coming out next October. 🎄🎅🏼
Simon and Baz at a Renaissance Faire in Iowa fighting vampires in broad daylight with an audience is everything I needed this weekend.
Nothing is holding my interest after Book of Night, so I decided to reread an old favorite. But since I never got to the sequels, this might just work out.
Jasper Fforde posted about this on his FB!

I‘d have copied and pasted, but it was too long to fit. And it has the first sentence of the sequel (which was also too long to fit.) Basically he‘s done writing it and is in the middle of editing.
I gathered a #sundaystack to try and entice myself to read/reread today. Sometimes I feel like they‘re here to keep me company - like old and new friends… Weird, right?
Best chapter title ever 😏
I finished Strange the Dreamer this week! So I‘m ready to start this one very soon… (tonight, after the robot fighting).
If you‘re on Owlcrate‘s new social app The Nest, join us for a read-a-long of this from 1/20 - 1/30.
I‘m definitely having a #JoyousJanuary 📚🌺🌻 Thanks @Andrew65 !
My weekend is booked! I have Monday off for the holiday and I‘m taking Friday off because, why not?
Current plans: I want to make a dent in Strange the Dreamer and She Who Rides the Storm. The other books are just for fun.
Strategy: I have the StD audiobook queued up from Libby in case I want to take a knitting break.
There must be a #readathon somewhere around here, right?
My first time trying this! Sorry it isn‘t pretty.. I‘m excited and definitely will be reading Nick & Charlie and Scattered Showers this month. ❤️ I‘m such a mood reader, but we‘ll see how this goes and next month we might even try bingo 🤣 #bookspin #bookspinbingo
I hope everyone has a happy new year‘s eve tonight! These are my plans - new library book and some Netflix.
I‘m weird, so I started reading the epilogue first… just to, you know, check on everyone. Anyone else do that, or is it just me? I can already tell it‘s going to be good. Thanks to @CBee for the rec! ❤️
I was left unsupervised at the library for the first time in what feels like forever… 🤫 Luckily I have them checked out until 1.25.23 ☺️
Any recommendations on what I should start first?
Anyone else planning to hit up Barnes N Noble‘s half off hardcover sale today or tomorrow (12/26-12/27)? This is my haul from in-store shopping today, then I went online tonight and ordered a signed copy of Book of Night and an (unsigned) Red, White, and Royal Blue: Collector‘s Edition, and pre-ordered The Stolen Heir… 📚🫣
Happy Holidays Littens! My favorite part of this time of year is eating cookies for breakfast. P.S. My cardamon roll is supposed to be a reindeer ☺️
New Rivers of London novella alert! I‘m 2 books behind in this series, and this doesn‘t come out until June 2023, but I‘m still excited!
Oh my goodness, I need it! I‘m totally adopting the hashtag #knittingtheneighborhood
Anyone else watching Outrageous Pumpkins this year? I love this show!!
Starting this tonight! 🧛🏻
Update: I finished this in one night.. who needs sleep, right? 🤷♀️
Reading up on a new fiber craft at the library! Are there any rug hookers out there? #craftersoflitsy
Just need to brag a little on finishing my shawl… it‘s a westknits shawlography from the 2021 mkal with miss babs yarn. #knitting
Gearing up to teach my sister how to knit brioche this weekend!
I just became aware of this series when I read the article on NPR (https://www.npr.org/2022/02/11/1079869885/review-joseph-hansen-dave-brandstetter-novels) that they were reissuing them. I‘ve read through book 4 and I‘m enjoying them so far!
Happy Publication Day to Sagittarius Saves Libra! I can‘t wait to see what trouble Jason and Owen get into. Signs of Love is one of my favorite series and I‘m excited for Jason to join Theo, Percy, Wesley, Zane, and Reid on my forever shelf! Also, Happy Pride Month! 🌈
I really enjoyed the adventure and imagination behind this story including the ink being liquid imagination and when they were trapped in Writer‘s Block. This was a great start to this middle grade series.

Me watching my mom, @Pamgardens almost at the end of this book. 😱 Dying to hear what she thinks of the twist!
The Donner Party‘s still shopping in this massive home decor store and I found a new reading/relaxing spot. I kind of want to take this egg chair home with me. (I‘m reclining in a bigger one than is in front of me). #silverlinings #nextstoplunch
There is nothing as satisfying to a bookworm as when your series books all match on the shelf.
Kindle sale alert! Out of Character is currently $1.99 on Kindle and Conventionally Yours (the first in this series) is currently available on Kindle Unlimited.
Inspired by a post by @GondorGirl I‘ve been going through my shelves and moving out some YA books. I just don‘t see myself reading or re-reading them before other books I have. I‘m slowly donating them to my local library a small stack at a time so I don‘t overwhelm them… 📚😂
Semla buns for Fat Tuesday! Made by my mom, @Pamgardens !
Sailors, Vampires, Pirates, and Phantoms, oh my! #libraryhaul
I was back at the library this weekend and perused the New shelf. I have the tagged book on my Nook, but options, you know?
I was granted the tagged book via NetGalley and it inspired me! I dug out my Smashbook and some little handmade books (I picked up who knows where), and I‘m ready to go. #craftersoflitsy

PI with a ghost were-bear partner and a werewolf ex-boyfriend. What could go wrong?
This quote slapped me in the face tonight. So relatable about my teenage niece. 🙄
Did everyone see this announcement? This and Prisoner of Azkaban are my two favorite of the series. 🥳 Now I‘m over here… waiting 👏 for 👏 October 👏 🎆🎇
I just realized I never posted the finished product! #litsycrafters
