This is a low pick for me. I much prefer The Thursday Murder Club series and those wonderful characters. This was just forgettable to me but I will probably read book two. Maybe it will provide a stronger connection to the characters.

Several people recommended this to me. It was a fun cozy mystery. Tea shop, murder, family (deprioritized and found) and a quirky cast of characters.

I didn‘t have the strong feelings (positive or negative) that I‘m reading about in so many reviews for this book. I‘m really looking forward to the discussion to hear what the other campers have to say.

A twisty listen with excellent narrators. So good!

I really enjoy this series. Book 8 brings Ellery‘s college friends to Pirate‘s Cove to celebrate the completion of the Captain‘s Seat renovations. We didn‘t get much from the Pirate‘s Cove regulars in this one (which I missed) but we did get to solve two cases.

Followed up on The Perfect Marriage by immediately reading this one. I enjoyed this one more. I was trying to predict the twists Rose was going to throw at us based on the characters‘ actions in the first book.

While I enjoyed the book, I didn‘t really like any of the characters. The twists and drama beat out the underwhelming characters and this is a pick for me. I‘m actually going to read book 2.

I‘ve read 20/24 rolled #Roll100 books from Jan-Apr. I have 2 lists— audiobooks & ebooks/physical books.
The #LittensLoveACOTAR group is moving on to the Throne of Glass series so I‘ll read Assassin‘s Blade when we get to it. My goal is to complete the other three books by the end of July.

I read 5/6 rolled #Roll100 books this month. I started Bake It to the Limit but put it aside when several library holds came in at once. I‘m going to pick it up this weekend.

Currant Creek Valley was my favorite of the five I finished.

I read this with the #SUNDAYBUDDYREAD group. I was sick and didn‘t participate much but have liked going back and reading the discussion. Again, not a book I would have chosen for myself but I found it to balance fluff & nostalgia pretty well. Overall, a good read for the month.
