dabbe So sorry to read about all that you've been dealing with, but glad to see that you're back! Lots of people like to share their favorites through these hashtags: #weeklyfavorites or #bookbracket/#bookbracket2025/#bookbracket25 ... I'm sure you can find tons at these two hashtag places. ♥️💙💚 2w
Lesliereadsalot Wishing you only good things going into the new year. Welcome back to Litsy! My favorites of this year: Wild Dark Shore and A Language of Limbs. From last year: All the Colors of the Dark. (edited) 2w

LaraReads @Bookwormjillk Thank you! ♥️ I would say I honestly like any genre as long as it‘s a good book. But I know that‘s pretty generic! So I would say: Contemporary Fiction, Literary Fiction, Romance, Fantasy, and Mystery are my most read. Thank you for the ToB link. Several of those look excellent! 2w
LaraReads @dabbe Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words. ♥️♥️ Will definitely take a look at those hashtags. 2w
LaraReads @Lesliereadsalot Thank you very much! 🥹♥️ All 3 of those look really great. I have added them to my reads for next year! (edited) 2w

CarolynM I‘m so sorry to hear all that. I hope that 2026 will treat you well. It is great to see you back here. 2023-24 were tough years for me. I read a lot of romance. Georgette Heyer was a big help. I‘ve read some great non-romance too. My favourite book this year is 2w
Susanita I‘m so sorry for all you‘ve been dealing with. If you want a book that will make you laugh try 2w
Chelsea.Poole You‘ve been hit so hard in such a short amount of time. Welcome back to Litsy and I hope 2026 is a year full of reading and joy for you! I‘d recommend this one, as one of my favorites this year, though it may be too much as it does focus on mental health and the author‘s struggles (edited) 2w

Decisions had to be made, and it was a little tormenting for Sept vs. Nov. I was excited to add Silver in the Wood as a wild card, and I look forward to seeing how things play out in the final moments of 2025. #bookbracket #readingbracket #bookbracket2025 #readingbracket2025 #MyBookoftheYear #MyBookoftheYear2025

Yeah, this had to happen. This is my favorite book from this series, which is my favorite series this month… although Brimstone was also really good.

My favorite read of November was Ada Blackjack: A True Story of Survival in the Arctic. This story has stuck with me and I am interested to read about it from other authors' points of view. I also delved a little bit into some of the primary sources and would like to read more of those too. #bookbracket #readingbracket #bookbracket2025 #readingbracket2025

I had two picks for this month as well. I didn‘t want to pit two spicy books against each other when my January AND February books are also two spicy books against each other, so I made one a wild card.

So, I switched one of my wild cards with this month‘s pick “The Ravine” because I didn‘t want to have to decide between it and my other pick from this month (Pageboy) immediately. It may still come to that, but I‘ll have had more time to process.
