Thanks to Tor and NetGalley for the eARC of Queen Demon. This was an amazing follow up to The Witch King. You MUST read The Witch King first.

Pogue @peanutnine I will let you know that Queen Demon starts right where The Witch King ends. No “last time on The Witch King” it just jumps right in, and ended on a cliffhanger that made me scream. 2w

This was a bleak story set just after WWII. Lots of talk of loss, also a bit of Scottish mythology. I would recommend this for an October read.

The book was well written but not well researched. The book takes place in 1982 and mentions things that did not happen until 2010. Also while I know the town is fiction the geographic details are off.

5feet.of.fury Why does this review make me so curious 😩 1982 and 2010 is a big leap 3mo
