Started this book today & it‘s mind-fucking-blowing. It‘s such an intelligent & brilliantly written narrative that examines the irony of war amid societies & the hunger for power that is the eventual downfall of all civilisations, whether you‘re human or sentient AI. The settings & evocative intensity of loneliness is excellent. Hard sci-fi fans MUST READ this!!

Totally loved listening to the audio book of the movie novelisation. Growing up, Aliens had a huge impact on me with regards to storytelling, powerful male leads and one of the greatest depictions of a strong female character in cinema.

🕶️ I finished Ready Player One a few days ago. I thought it was pretty good, but nowhere near the hype that everyone has built it up to. However, I liked it enough that I'd still pick up another book written by Cline, and I'm really excited to see how it translates into a movie.
