I didn‘t know you can now @ the bookstore! That‘s really cool!

I asked my friend to take a picture of me while I randomly browse the shelves and I think it worked out well. I really adored my outfit today and the five books I bought was a nice plus 🥰.

I'm going back to Arrian. War, Greeks, Alexander. I also listened to a bunch of Emperors of Rome podcasts this week. Hence a book haul of non fiction Roman books. Also, new nails. Dramatic black with silver dust to mimic deep space. The stars one is the Aquarius constellation. #summerread #newbooks

LauraJ Love your nails! Great books too. 🖤 7d

EadieB @Butterflyamore I liked this book haul video. Lots of interesting books. I usually write the books down but I was folding my wash so I will have to watch the video again. But here are some books I recently got from a library sale: 3 books by Rachel Caine (Stillhouse Lake, Killman Creek and Wolfhunter River). 3 books by Stuart Neville (The Ghosts of Belfast, Stolen Souls and Those We Left Behind). Got Swimming Lessons by Claire Fuller. To be Con't (edited) 1w
EadieB @Butterflyamore From a library sale: Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann, A Game For All The Family by Sophie Hannah.
Also got these from NetGalley:
What You Did by Claire McGowan, Ted Bundy's Murderous Mysteries by Kevin Sullivan, On the Trail of the Yorkshire Ripper by Richard Charles Cobb, What Rose Forgot by Nevada Barr and Recursion by Blake Crouch.
ARC from LibraryThing: The Words Between Us by Erin Bartels
(edited) 1w
Butterflyamore @EadieB It sounds like you got so many good ones! 1w
EadieB @Butterflyamore Yes but now to find the time to read them! 1w

EadieB @Butterflyamore I like most of your book picks and will probably read:
Playing Dead, The Illness Lesson, This Tender Land, Dear Edward, Ten Thousand Doors of January, His Hideous Heart and Widow of Pale Harbor. I have read all of William Kent Krueger's books and love his writing. His series is great and love Cork O'Connor. I would like to read Brigid Kemmerer but should read her first book. I'm a fan or Poe too so those 2 books are a must.
EadieB @Butterflyamore Some books I am interesting in reading are: The Lying Room by Nicci French due out 10/1/19. Ioved her Frieda Klein series. The Wives by Tarryn Fisher due out 12/30/19. Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane and What You Did by Claire McGowan. I enjoyed McGowan's Paula Maguire series. I have a lot of series that I am reading and trying to compete so that's what I am looking forward to. (edited) 2w

Butterflyamore @EadieB I am interested in The Lying Room as well and might include it in my next thriller video. I‘ve heard Nicci French is a husband/wife team, which is cool! I haven‘t read the series yet but I do have Blue Monday in my stack. I have Ask Again, Yes as well but it‘s another I haven‘t gotten to yet! 2w
EadieB @Butterflyamore I had to look again at the title of Nicci French's book. It looked like The Living Room to me and I'm glad I saw your post because I've read it a couple of times and didn't notice the correct title. lol Yes they are a husband/wife team. Some of their books are so/so but the Frieda Klein series was very good. I think you mentioned Ask Again, Yes before and that's why I had it listed. Anyway, thanks for mentioning the new books! 2w
Butterflyamore Haha! I thought it was just an autocorrect typo because autocorrect always changes words on me! 2w

Today is #audibleday and I chose a Toni Morrison novel, narrated by her. I listened to the sample, and her measured, intelligent, wise voice gave me chills in the middle of this busy coffee shop. #tonimorrison #love #newbooks #audiobooks #audible
