Bookwormjillk I'll admit I skimmed a lot of this chapter and it still took me my entire lunch break. But I did think she did a good job of showing how clannish and adverse to change small towns can be. Just wish she could have done it in about half the pages. 1y

Bklover I thought it was interesting that doctors only made money by selling medicines to patients. I can imagine that Lydgate seems like a nut to them. I loved the lady who could hardly believe that he expected to charge people for just sitting there. (I get her point a little bit). 1y
