Today I met a former student of mine,who graduated in 2019 & has faced incredible challenges in her life with grace: her brain tumor (cancer), tragic death of both parents. She continues to inspire me. Of course we talked of books; she works 2 days a week at a local library. We are in touch but I have not seen her in person since last autumn. #SolarEclipse2024

From Phoenix, we saw about 60% coverage of the eclipse, much like a sliver of the moon--only this time it was the sun. Those are the sun discs on our sidewalk shining through our tree to the ground! 🤩🤩🤩

Aims42 No leaves on the trees by me to do this, but for the first time in a very long time; no clouds, no rain, just blue sky and sun 😆 Where I‘m at in Chicago we got up to 94% coverage. So cool!!! 4mo
