I forgot to post yesterday. #TheDayAfterTomorrow reminded me of this apocalyptic book by Megan Hunter. It's a very slim book, the writing is poetically weird and the story stayed with me for a very long time.

Today's prompt reminded me of a book on my #TBR. #BonjourMadame

MidnightBookGirl I've only read Into the Water, which I liked (although I did listen to the audiobook). But I always read the first page of both books to see which one makes me want to flip over to page 2 more. ;) 7y

Jess7 Into the Water was good, but not great. In my opinion Girl on the Train was a lot better. Since we Fell is on my current #TBR. I can say that with into the water you will need to take notes about the characters bc there are several (10 give or take) different narratives to keep up with (both living and dead). Not sure how many points of view Since We Fell has, but I doubt it has as many. So your choice might come down to the type of read you want 7y

If you disliked The Couple Next Door, I'm pretty sure this one won't win you over! It's a mindless fast paced read, with crappy dialogue but enough twists to keep you turning the pages. Worked for me as a #palettecleanser #lowexpectations definitely helped @emilyhaldi ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Cinfhen I think the more thrillers a reader reads the harder it becomes to surprise them. I had most of it figured out but still kept flipping the pages @JoeStalksBeck the last paragraph surprised me 😱 7y
