#WeeklyForecast for this week:
Finish the two library loans I have:
- The Dilemma; and
- The Nocturnal Brain.
and start tackling my physical TBR mountain with this proof of A Book of Echoes, due to be released on 27th February.
My #BookReport and #WeeklyForecast.
I don‘t think I‘ll get a lot of reading time for print books the next few weeks, so I don‘t know what I‘ll pick up next, I‘m just going to see what mood I‘m in if/when I get the time to sit down and read. In the mean time, I‘m enjoying How Emotions are Made on my drive to work 👍
Not much reading time this weekend, as my Mom is here visiting. We‘re having a good time though, and talking books 😊.
I‘ll be finishing Underground Railroad for #AuthorAMonth (it‘s really good!)
Continuing with #TheScentKeeperBuddyread with @CoffeeNBooks (also v. Good!)
The Shadow Land was a gift from @Hooked_on_books some time ago, I‘m about 1/4 in.
Need to start Trail of Lightning for bookclub 📚😊❤️.
I‘m giving up on my original February themed reading as I hate listening to romance novels and I just don‘t have time to read them in print with my other obligations. My #weeklyforecast is more rest-of-the-month goals, except Red Sphinx. I want to reach page 608 of that by Saturday (& finish this month), finish Pride of Eden, read my other two ARCs, and read my annotated Persuasion. No idea what audio I‘ll listen to at work, yet.
#bookreport #weeklyforecast combo
I‘m still struggling to get into a reading groove. I might have finished Slaughterhouse-Five yesterday, but I spent most of my time helping my husband repair our water heater. 🔧💪🏻🚿 Hopefully, I will get my groove back this week. 🙂
My #weeklyforecast. Though I‘m really not sure I‘ll make it to any of my up nexts, we‘ll see.
Im hoping to finish the new Isabel Allende book tonight and then will start one of the two on the right (both due at the library soon!) any suggestions which one to start with?
Then Lying and Dying on my kindle when I‘m bored at work and staring What the Lady Wants for #literary crew
This is what I am hoping to read this week:
A Cheesemonger‘s History of the British Isles - Ned Palmer: I‘m about halfway through, I‘d probably finish it quicker if I didn‘t keep stopping to look up stockists of the various cheeses mentioned...
The Cockroach - Ian McEwan: library book I‘d forgotten I had, luckily not due back til next weekend!
The Quarry - Ben Halls: Proof copy I got at Cheltenham Literature Festival last year
Overly ambitious as well. Still focusing on print but really need to #kickmykindlesass as well so I also have 3 books lined up on kindle: Gypsy King-Devney Perry, When We Fall-JH Croix, and Bossy Brothers:Jesse-JA Huss (its in KU and likely trash but sometimes that‘s what I need). Also I really need to finish Coming In From the Cold by Sarina Bowen on my nook. #WeeklyForecast
My #WeeklyForecast for the next week. I‘m currently reading the Boyne book (and getting my heart broken by it), and I plan to start the Butler afterwards. I‘m not really a self help/self improvement kind of reader, but I found the three books on the bottom on Scribd, and I‘m going to give them a chance during my commute this week. 👍
My reading goals for this week are to finish The Blackhouse and Pride of Eden, reach page 203 (ch. 21) in The Red Sphinx, and ideally read all of Nairobi Noir and An American Marriage. I‘m probably going to do An American Marriage on audio because I do not want to read it, but have to for book club. 🤷🏻♀️
My #weeklyforecast. Really need to finish a few rather than continuously starting new ones. I also have to get to Unsheltered - it‘s for my in person book club in a couple weeks! 😬
Really enjoying The Katharina Code , this is GOOD crime fiction. I would like to continue on with The Cabin & get to know Detective Wisting better 👍🏻.... however ,
I did have a peek at Transcription & love the writing , so , maybe ... I‘ll see where my mood takes me ....
🎧 and I will be listening to You Will Be Safe Here ❤️
Happy Reading Week All 😘
I know it‘s early, but here‘s my very tentative forecast for next week. I‘m driving to Raleigh tomorrow to work out of my company‘s Raleigh office on Monday, so I‘ll have about 8 hours in the car between the two days. Not sure either of these audiobooks will hold my interest, but we‘ll see. I‘d like to finish the book I‘ve already started and the other is the last Book Riot #myTBR recommendation that I have any interest in reading. 🤷🏻♀️
Still working on Nevernight - it's good, I just don't know why I'm slowly getting through it.
Finished Sorcery of Thorns yesterday - first #BuddyRead book of the year. Next one is Daughter of the Pirate King
Took The Twelve Dates of Christmas out of hibernation - I am suffering from a bout of "finish-itis" (the need to finish projects started), so I pulled out unfinished projects (like my son's mittens) and books.
#bookreport and #weeklyforecast 🐌 🐌
Yes, I read one book last week. Not in the mood for the planned book, so started with The Whisper Man. I foresee this one-book-per-week achievement will continue next week, as I‘ll be busy, tired, stressing, and ‘people-ing‘ due to the Lunar New Year celebration this weekend. Wish me peace and luck! 🙏
📖 Stillhouse Lake - not on my forecast for last week #newyearwhodis
🎧 The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
📖Forbidden - 56 pages read
📖An Unkindness of Ghosts - 75 pages to go, will finish tomorrow

#bookreport #weeklyforecast combo
This week I completed:
📖 The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle
🎧 Crisis In The Red Zone
I‘m behind on reviews as usual.
I spent most this weekend distracted and consumed all 353 minutes of Ms. Fisher‘s Modern Murder Mysteries, but I‘m currently reading:
📖 An Unkindness of Ghosts
🎧 The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
My upcoming books are on the right. 🙂
I‘m about halfway through Traveling Cat, and I have to say Joy Luck feels like a good pairing with it (I‘m listening to Joy Luck on audio, and am at about 20%.)
I really don‘t know what I‘m going to pick up next. I‘m kind of feeling like a chunkster... we‘ll see!
Winter has finally hit us here so I plan to spend the next week avoiding all the snow and ice as I finish my current reads as well as diving into the stack of graphic novels I currently have sitting next to my chair.
audio: Rivers of London/Midnight Riot (UK vs American)
physical: Steel Crow Saga
ebook: Sword of Destiny
Thought I‘d go old school paper to keep track of my overly ambitious #weeklyforecast The cheap o dry erase board is so cheap, it can‘t really be erased....
Must Finish: Constellation
Must Finish : Conviction
Hope to Start: Such A Fun Age 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
It‘s almost midnight, so it‘s almost Sunday and time for the next #weeklyforecast. My goals for this week are to reach page 401 in The Three Musketeers for my #YearofDumas, maybe finish the audiobook of Forty Rules if I can stomach the narrator (or bail), finish the digital ARC I just started, and at least start another of my tailored book recommendations #TBR. Still not sure which one I feel like reading. 🤔🤷🏻♀️
#weeklyforecast late edition
These are my current reads and I don‘t think I will start anything new. The two print books are from my #newyearwhodis list.
📖 The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle - just slightly over 100 pages to go. If I can stay awake I might finish it tonight.
📖 An Unkindness of Ghosts - almost to the halfway mark
🎧Crisis In The Red Zone - 26% completed
