Well-ReadNeck @Kaye you can click on a blue (highlighted) hashtag or search for one with the same search tool you use for books and people (just choose the hashtag tab at the top). That will give you all the posts with that hashtag, most recent at the top 6y

This is part of why I'm still only halfway through this book! "I'll be fine!" I thought, "I have a decent grasp of Spanish-I love reading phrases in other languages!" Ho-ho, the hubris of it all. GIRL! You do not know Dominican slang! Or any Spanish slang at all! ? I can't believe I only allotted one page for this-& I never thought I'd be writing out Spanish vocab that included the phrase "rotten pussy" ? now I want an excuse to use it!

My first month of my new (coloring book) Book Journal with multiple read alongs I was keeping track of...and it‘s finished! And even more exciting for me, all on track except 1, I have to carry over Rest in Power (again). I‘ll try to put a push on that one and finish it out yet this month (I have a few days left) and I really need to stop dragging my feet with that sad, but necessary, read. Plus look for pens that don‘t bleed through the pages.😂

Gezemice This is so beautiful! So cool. I did not know there was a Blind Assassin buddy read, but I read it earlier this year and it totally floored me. I think I need to read it again. 6y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Gezemice Yes! I was a total fail at bullet journaling and craftiness, but I can color in the pre-printed pictures. Hopefully I‘ll keep up with this better too. 😉😂 6y

Gezemice @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I have a bullet-journal of sorts, although it is merely an adoption of some of the organization on a messy notebook (like page numbers and an index). I write in it occasionally... I would not say it was a resounding success. I hope you will keep yours up, I love the colors and patterns! 6y

Well it was ok...but I should preface this with A) I‘m not a horror fan, and B) I didn‘t think it was really scary or even suspenseful.

I think I‘m missing something essential to love these stories. Well off to finish up my other reading before today‘s @LitsyFeministBookClub discussion.

Leniverse No one likes the Horror at Red Hook. It's rather xenophobic and just not very good. And I say that as someone who loves Lovecraft. 6y

Caterina Ayyyyy I also just reviewed this! I HATED it. So racist and on top of that not even good. I've enjoyed some of the other Lovecraft I've read! @Leniverse I agree! 6y
