So far I‘ve only read 2/60 books for my #MountTBR challenge, but I know that after this weekend that number will be much higher thanks to the #ThrowbackReadathon 💙 I decided I wanted to add numbers to the boxes, instead of the book titles for this #bujospread . I am absolutely loving how this spread has turned out. 📖

I signed up for the #MountTBR challenge and I knew I'd have to create a visual list to remind me not to keep buying more books when I have SO many that I still need to read at home. I chose #MountKilimanjaro which is 60 books. Wish me luck! ☺️

Clwojick @LiteraryinLititz I love the leuchtturm 1917 dotted.you can buy it in a variety of colours. I picked mine up at Chapters, but you could probably find one online. My favourite pens to use are the inkjoy gel pens 0.7. You can find a ton of inspiration here on Litsy or on Pinterest, using the tags #Bujo #Bulletjournal etc. If you have any more questions, let me know. ♥️ 6y

Bks4Wrms Do your total books read stat (470) include the 112 audiobooks or are they two separate stats (470 books read plus 112 audiobooks listened)? I never know how to categorize this for my personal stats. (Btw - impressive stats and journaling!) 6y

kezzlou85 @PenguinInFlight for mine i use leuchtturm journals. They're lovely quality, pages are thick and numbered with a contents page at the front. To write in I use papermate flair pens because they dry quickly. 6y

Having five days of holidays has really helped me get my numbers up for 2018. ☺️ With an annual goal of 500 books (including audio, comics, graphic novels and picture books), I've been trying to finish a minimum of two books a day, as I know things will be crazy getting closer to the wedding.

Clwojick @Kaye When I calculated last years totals and seen that I saved $11k I knew I wanted to set that as an annual goal ongoing so I don't forget to take advantage of what the library has to offer. I've gone years without using my library card, and I cringe thinking about how much money I'd save, especially considering I never keep my books after I read them. They get passed on. 6y

Kaye 😮 Wow, 11 K. Our libraries occasionally have pamphlets out that tell you how much you save by using the library instead of buying books. I really need to do the same , as retirement will be around the corner. I just got a Congratulations Notice in the mail telling me I‘m now old enough to have a Golden Buckeye card (in Ohio it gives seniors a small discount in certain items ).Gotta Learn to live on more of a fixed income. Thanks for reminding me 6y

MommyWantsToReadHerBook You guys are really lucky to have such awesome libraries. I don't have a prayer in hell of finding anything published recently at mine (or in the whole city) and there's never anything among the new books that catches my eye. If I really, really want something I have to buy it new, hope to find it secondhand or hope a good friend buys it. It sucks. 6y

Clwojick @MommyWantsToReadHerBook Do you join in on a lot of swaps here? That's another good way to get books that are on your TBR! I know I'm very lucky. Our thrift stores have phenomenal selection, I have four libraries that are beautifully stocked, and I have multiple used and new bookstores. If I ever post a pic of a book you're hoping to read, I don't mind doing a swap with you if you're interested. If I own the book, it gets passed along afterwards. 6y

MommyWantsToReadHerBook @Clwojick I'm in South Africa, sadly, behind the times on so many fronts 😊 In the province where I grew up, you could at least order books from the main library in the capital city, so I got many great books that way while I was a teen and student. But in Gauteng every municipality has its own pathetic little system and you can only request books in your own city, so most of what I request is unavailable. 6y

Kaye Yes I guess those of us who are fortunate enough to have good libraries are lucky. @MommyWantsToReadHerBook Do you get to make trips to a bigger city that has a nicer library very often ? I‘m wondering if you could borrow them for extended times since you don‘t have close nice libraries. 6y

MommyWantsToReadHerBook I already live in the capital city 😢😢 It's pathetic, there are loads of libraries but they're all teeny tiny and all equally poorly stocked. They have plenty of modern classics but like I said nothing very recent. I can't figure out how it works, how money for more books is allocated.. 6y

Clwojick @Texreader Christmas isn't a huge thing in our family right now because we don't have any young kids in the immediate family... so December is a lot less busy for me than most people. I took advantage of that and read my little face off. 🤓 6y
