I mostly kept up with readalongs in September and listened to a lot of audio. I finished both my #BookSpin & #DoubleSpin as well as got a bingo! As for favorites in new reads, Legends & Lattes was an incredibly fun and light listen and Coming up Short was a great middle grade read.

I listened to more books than I expected in July, read a picture book, kept up with #DraculaDaily, started another #LotRChapterADay reread, and am making progress on catching up on #Clarissa. Overall, it was a good month. I think my favorite was Thimble Summer as a perfect summer story, and The Bridge at Andau was a great nonfiction.

I read some great books in April, but I think Alias Grace is the one that made the greatest impression. Killers of a Certain Age was a fun listen, and I also really enjoyed Life of Pi. I completed 11 books this month and stayed caught up with Clarissa. It was a very audio heavy month.

At first glance, these stats look like I was going a bit overboard on reading in April, but 14 out of the 51 books were picture books—there was a readathon on booktube encouraging adults to read picture books. I also participated in #TransGirlApril —and read 13 books by trans or nonbinary authors. 10 memoirs or biographies were for #PeopleApril. #readingstats (for bookish nerds)
