My New Year‘s resolution (which I‘m hoping to put into effect before New Year‘s) is to start journaling.
Do any keen journalers have resources they love? I‘m open to whatever — specific notebook brands, pencils (not an inkling), advice about repeated prompts or a general structure that works for you, books about the topic, etc?
Thanks for helping me get excited!

I saw this post on Instagram from someone I follow and here‘s my comment on this post.

#Falling Day 8: #DearDiary made me want to share photos of my new bullet journal - little acts of creation, labor of love with colors and customizable grids with these stencils and stickers. Super stress reliever.

My journal I bought at an Indie bookstore to start in September. I am bundled up in fleece & fuzzy slippers to brave the chill while writing. #porchlife #coffeeandbooks #75SOFT #journalprompts #BERmonths #day1

I never buy books (libraries for the win!), but I‘m buying this one. Loved the short essays as a daily prompt to write (or think) a bit. The essays were written by a range of interesting people- each with their own style. Loved this idea, loved the essays. Wonderful.

I am trying out a new-to-me creative hobby - art journaling! I‘ve done the front cover (both sides) and the first page. We‘ll see if the hobby sticks but I am enjoying it! And hopefully, the more I do it, the better I‘ll get. 🎨
***And before anyone yells at me, I had a book whose spine broke and the pages started falling out, so I decided to repurpose them into art! 😂
