Just starting this- feeling nostalgic because the book is set on Mount Desert Island, which my family & I have visited 3x. Longing to go back.

It‘s been some time since I have read the previous 3 in this series. So far, gritty, with complicated questions of immigration, warring Roma factions,& so much more, amidst Chief Inspector Andreas Kaldis‘s upcoming wedding.

Whose Body? | Dorothy Sayers

Went for something comforting tonight. I went through all of Dorothy Sayers novels so long ago that I can reread without a clue! So I am enjoying myself. The tagged book is Set in England after WWI in 1923.
I forgot the author used the format of footnotes to explain the rare province (or not) of the books Wimsey was buying. #DorothySayers #MistressoftheGoldenAgeMystery #libraryfind #LordPeterWimseyMystery #porchlife #20in4 #readathon

Today‘s read. I remember the first in this series as a pick, so when I found this in the library earlier this month, I grabbed it. #libraryfind #AnAgnesLuthiMystery #porchlife

Seasonal Work: Stories | Laura Lippman

Pickpick

I read 1 of the 12 short stories per day- no matter what the story I was continually surprised & at times, astonished at the outcomes. The author wrote these stories over a span of 12 years, & some had been previously published. They were all new to me, & kept me riveted. As the cover flap says better than I can, they are stories of “deception, murder, dangerous games, and love gone wrong.” Highly recommend! #libraryfind
