I liked this one a lot! It definitely kept my interest and some of the twists were unexpected. I thought a few were predictable but there was a lot that took me by surprise. I liked the setting and the different perspectives. The ending was perfect, in my opinion and I thought this was a quick read with a plot that kept me hooked.
Spunky, caring unattended children search for a house. Adventures ensue.

Pretty interesting story. I really liked the characters and the intro to the story.

I did not enjoy a single thing about this book. 🤷🏽♀️🎧
I saw Brendan Fear walk into the diner where I worked with some of his friends, but I had no idea how my life would change that night.

Getting into the Halloween spirit by picking up a more recent Fear Street book. I was obsessed with this series as a kid, LOVED the movies last year, and am curious what he did with them in the between.
This is a mid pick for me. I really enjoyed the whole vibe this book let on. Ghost stories, party games, unsuspecting victims, trapped on and island. There was a lot of predictability but, I mean, it's Stine...of course there is 🤣 It was fun.

I was such a huge fan of R.L. Stone‘s original Fear Street books as well as Christopher Pike when I was in middle school/early high school and I‘m so glad Netflix has started turning some of them into shows! This first book in the revamped Fear Street series was just what I expected and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nothing mind blowing or too twisted but just teenagers being teenagers and scares for all. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 #teamslaughter #scarathlon2022
I love the vibrant cover! The narrator was great and the story kept me interested but the writing isn‘t great and the f-bomb was grossly overused with most every character. I don‘t care for edge of your seat suspense so I was okay with it only being mildly suspenseful, but I felt the story fell short of it‘s potential.
