Yay! It‘s back! Great list! #threelistthursday #TLT
We‘re encouraged to maximize our scores, so I included something I‘ve only seen as a play*. This brought my score to 42/70. 😎
Here‘s the survey if you want to play along.

It's been a while. Couldn't resist another survey for fall. If you've read it OR seen it, it counts. If you've only read one in a series, it counts. Give yourself the best score possible!
Share your score (if you want). List 3 faves/3 hates/3 you thought should have been here/3 whatever-you-wants. ALL play! 😍
All pertain to autumn in some way--even if it just begs to be read in fall.

I just retired from education, so this is a particularly poignant question for me. I loved the kids—most of them were so sweet and so much fun! I loved being a librarian (unfortunately only two years out of my 18 year career) SO much! It was so much fun! And I loved (and still do) the friendships that I made during those years—such wonderful people! ❤️

Took me all day but I finally came up with three things.
1) The library.
2) Marching band.
3) Swings.

1. I have to steal @Kshakal answer, Scholastic Book Fairs. Gosh, the thrill!
2. Playing in the band, being the drum major 🤓 🪈
3. Miss Nancy Lindell, best teacher EVER!
Bonus - seeing friends. I‘m looking sort of forward to a gathering tomorrow to celebrate 36 years? We could not do math.
Tagging all the school kids!

Thanks to all who shared. 🧡🤎💛
1. Meeting this gal in high school. We're still best friends even though were a thousand miles away from each other. 👯
2. This group of seniors from my sorority at the University of AZ. We went through a lot together. 🏝️
3. Dressing up with my English colleagues every Halloween. Such fun. 💀
For today‘s #threelistthursday, I listed 3 things I loved about school and then I wrote about my experience in school as an Autistic person and I was crying as I was writing about it. I had to keep stopping and wiping tears from my eyes because it was hard for me to write about it.

1) The school library. It was the place that I discovered some of my favourite books. Jane Eyre, Jacob Have I Loved, etc. it was also the place that I felt the safest @ school.
2) My three bookclub friends. It was the place where I met my longest friends, almost 30 years ago.
3) My English and socials/history classes. Also discovered some of my favourite books in those places. ⤵️
1. I loved (and still love) summer vacation, even if lately it‘s more of an ideal than a reality. Anyway, I‘ve also appreciated returning to the structure of the school year, even if my younger self didn‘t necessarily articulate it that way.
2. In elementary school I loved music class in whatever form it was offered.
3. In high school I loved Spanish class.

I also love that there‘s a BTS Leslie Meier cozy mystery!
