so-soThis was more mixed than some intros to the holiday I‘ve seen. The history chapters did an especially good job of giving an overview of the origins of Yule from the solstice celebrations of various ancient cultures and showing how those traditions tie into both modern paganism and, Wicca, and Christianity. But the how-to chapters on celebrating Yule today were especially banal.
