Sparks is one of my Safe Havens (get it? ba dum tiss) and his books never fail to interest me and make me satisfied at the ending. Another solid one.

This book was so good! Nicholas Sparks will never let me down! Great love story but with an amazing end! Amazing book, but of course now I'll have to see the movie (;

I absolutely LOVE this book but seriously don‘t ever waste your time on the movie. It was TERRIBLE!

I‘m still marveling at the great condition so many of these hardcover books are in from the library sale yesterday!

I haven't come across a Nicholas Sparks book I didn't like, and this one wasn't an exception! I want expecting the plot twist at the end, but I love the way this book ended, which is a big deal for my overall view of a book.

This actually made me laugh out loud! 😂

Somewhere between a pick and a so-so for me. I liked the general story but the characters seemed a little stale and one dimensional. I would love to see this type of story written by a really dynamic female author.

I've only been to a #BedandBreakfast twice, but they both had amazing front porches where I could read! This one, that I visited last year, is in Southport, NC, where the tagged book is set. Received this from a friend & it does show a certain approach to romance.

The same old Sparks' plot with different characters in different circumstances and situations. A woman or man with a past and they fall in love but the other one is hesitant because of the his/her past but what the heck they still fall in love. A man is always present to ruin their relationship but at the end there will always be a confrontation wither verbally or physically and their love becomes stronger.

Day 7: Lighthouses

Surprisingly I don't have/can't remember a book with a lighthouse on the cover, so here's one of my favorite beachy reads with one of my many lighthouses in my house. It's the only Nicholas Sparks novel I read but I loved it! Katie Feldman is such a wonderful character!

The villain was cliché.

Sometimes you need an easy read where you can anticipate the next move. A book that'll help you get over a book slump. For me, I turn to a Sparks novel. There's a little romance, a little tension, but in the end you can most likely expect happily ever after.

It's my first Father's Day without my dad. I get my love of reading from him and still have my reading chair in his house. This is his stack of books still beside his bed ❤️

Do you ever just get in the mood to reread something? I have this romance on my mind tonight.

I love the plot of this book. And yes, I'm going to say it again...the book is better than the movie.

This was good. Normally, I don't choose this genre on my own -- Thanks for the recommendation @MrsRead . While I anticipated the end and was not surprised by what was revealed, I enjoyed the pacing.

Nicholas Sparks is one of the best romantic writers to date. His books can be applied to real life and leave a lasting message.😍😄

Current read! Another small town story recommended to me. This is not my normal genre choice but then again, that was the point of asking for recommendations. Going to give this a fair shot.
