‘All my friends are Superheroes‘ Andrew Kaufmann - so sweet, quick, I recommend it all the time
‘What I Loved‘ Siri Hustvedt - I never recommend, I think it was a right time/place book, but I loved it
‘The Enchanted‘ Rene Denfeld - not sure what it is about this one but I‘ve re-read, audio, re-read

Tom's friends really ARE all super heroes. His wife (The Perfectionist) is hypnotized by an ex-boyfriend (Hypno) into believing Tom has gone and left her. She cannot see or hear him.
Tom has the duration of a flight to convince his heart-broken wife that he hasn't abandoned her, before she uses her power to erase all memories of him forever.

pickThis was by far one of the most delightful books I've read in a while. A very simple story, but laced with magic realism and a dreaminess quality to the writing. Canadian author Andrew Kaufman's debut novel will not disappoint if you are looking for a quick, quirky read but with plenty of depth to keep you thinking for a while afterwards. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
