#DNF this Audible freebie. Within the first two chapters, approximately 30 minutes of the 4 hour book, I learned nothing new. Unless you‘ve never been on social media, this book seems pretty useless.

I'm never going to be an influencer. I have no make-up tips, no one wants to copy my (stained t-shirt) style, and I'd have to clean my house to share 'design' tips (cleaning creates a conflict of interest with my reading time). I read this for kicks and to see if any of the info could be applied to other aspects of my life, which it can. I enjoyed it more than I expected.

So I read the book because I didn‘t really understand what an influencer was. All I knew was I sort of hated the term. What I learned is there are people out there - regular people - making a living from being on social media. Like, an extraordinary living. I thought they were getting a sweatshirt and a couple hundred dollars. So wrong! The book is more of a how-to than a description. It was okay from my non-influencer point of view.

Reggie I play a game called league of legends and there‘s players who stream their play and make sooooo much money just from kids watching. It‘s crazy!! 5y
