This is one of my faves in the series because of the bits about the real life people in this story, namely Prince George, Princess Marina, and the real life counterpart to the fictional murder victim in this story, Bobo Carrington. Makes me want to binge watch The Crown! 5⭐️

I enjoyed this much more than the last 2 in the series. Georgie is asked by Queen Mary to show Prince George‘s fiancé around London. Of course, someone gets murdered and Georgie gets roped into the investigation. I like the tidbits of real royal history thrown in at the end. 4⭐️

Book 9 finished! Fun to binge in the summer. What do you binge on, when and why? With this one I love the characters and lifestyle, time period. Just enough mystery to keep it interesting and different each time.

I didn't sleep well last night because I was so excited to open my package. What a way to start the day. I feel like I stacked this book only a little while ago and I can't wait to dive in.

I think I would have enjoyed this book more if I had started at the beginning of the series and had a chance to become invested in the main characters. I also happened to be reading a Secret Adversary, set in the same time period, and The Nanny ( when the David , Bertie etc are children) . Figured whodunnit very early on. I will definitely give the A Royal Spyness Mystery books another chance.

So I was wandering the aisles of the bookstore and #blameitonlitsy I recognized an author. The blurb claimed fans of Agatha Christie and PG Wodehouse would enjoy this book. Naturally I had to buy it 😀🐉📚#dinnerandabook

Excellent read. I love this whole series and this one was one of my favorites. The best ones are always the ones that involve some royal cousins.

Is it life changing? No. Is it an enjoyable listen while cooking dinner and doing boring tasks at work? Most definitely. Lady Georgiana is back with her crazy lady's maid and living at the Aunt Heap. Another fun read/listen. A nice pick me up after Maisy Dobbs mystery (good, but serious).
