pickAnother fun one. My son has really enjoyed this series. The family moves to Princeton for a year while their dad works on a book, and the mom contemplates going back to work. Fudge‘s kindergarten misadventures and his bird Uncle Feather were the highlights. Warning: there is an extended discussion of Santa not being real.

My daughter, who is almost 13 has recently started sitting in during bedtime story time with my seven year old son, after a few years of thinking she was too old to be read to. I am absolutely loving and cherishing this time with both of my babies ❤ #raisingreaders
pickListened to the audiobook read by Judy Blume. That in and of itself was pretty awesome! Super fun revisit to the world of Peter Hatcher and his brother, Fudge. I enjoyed this book better than the first when I was younger, and can say that is still true. If I had children, I would read this with them, regardless of their gender.
Judy Blume has a yet-to-be-named movie coming out. She had one movie in 2013, but it wasn't based on anything of hers that an old guy like me had heard of. How has none of her classic stories never made it to the screen?
1. Guys, I really like dessert. I'm sure I have a favorite in each category of desserts. Overall...🤔 I guess I'll go with fudge. There's a lot of nostalgia there for me. Plus, it's so easy to make really good fudge; I don't know why more people don't!

Eleanor‘s “reading at the beach”. She put on her swimsuit, made imaginary sandcastles with the spoon and container, and then has been reading on her “beach towel”. Haha! 🙂 #raisingreaders

Superfudge was my first Judy Blume book. My aunt and uncle bought me this exact edition was I was four? five? I remember that I couldn't read it on my own yet, but when I could, I did read it--and loved it. While it wasn't my favorite Judy Blume, it was a perfect start for a new reader. I'm so lucky to have been introduced to her before my own reading life even began. #NostalgicNovember 📖❤️👧🏻

I broke my leg pretty good in 5th grade some 33 years ago and I spent spring and summer reading --not much else to do when you're in a cast from May to August. I met many wonderful characters that year and now I get to start introducing some to my daughter 😊
