I loved these books as a kid and have been trying to find them for Wes. Apparently my set was not ruined, it was just given to my sister. Anyway- I‘m 9 books short of the full 28 now!

Halfway done! Page 2 is completed.
Repost for @TheAromaofBooks
I may regret this, because obviously I don't have enough buddy reads going on 😂, but is anyone interested in reading the Trixie Belden books with me? I'm thinking similar to the Nancy Drew readalong - one book a month with a few discussion posts? Since we read ND in the first half of the month & discuss on the 15th, I'm thinking Trixie in the second half & discuss on the 30th?
If yes, start this month or in April?
Yes, I realize I'm not the target audience 😅. But I was OBSESSED with Momo and with The Neverending Story when I was a kid, so when I realized there was a famous Ende book I had missed, I wanted to read it. Honestly, I don't think I would have liked it as a kid either; I didn't like books without child characters, and the heroes in this one are animals. Also too much verse. Meh.

Twelve-year-old Elizabeth is sent to spend the summer with her distracted, scholarly aunt at a Scottish manor house and finds herself mysteriously able to interact with the 18th-century family who once lived there.
“Time-slip” stories were a huge childhood favourite of mine and this 1975 novel is such a good addition to the genre.
I spent a month of my life audio-puzzling to this 3,000 piece puzzle… and loved it!
