OK, I NEED this book! Just watching him paint and seeing those scenes emerge on his canvases brought peace and comfort to me growing up...I miss Bob Ross like I miss Mister Rogers. 😔❤️😔❤️

robinb @ForeverNerdy he made EVERYTHING look easy! 🤣 I loved that he wasn‘t afraid to be himself...I know he got some ribbing for the hair, the clothes, the gentle voice, but he remained true to who he was. 👏👏👏 7y

We live and teach at a boarding school, which means on the last day of school students throw all kinds of stuff away they don't want to carry home. Today was the last day of school. Look at the gorgeous painting my dh and dd #2 rescued from the massive trash heap outside the girl's dorms. They gave it to dd #1 to hang in her room which is awesome as she's in the process of redecorating. Anyhow, thought it was cool. Wish I could paint like this! 🎨

When I was a kid living in Hong Kong, my parents once outfitted half our flat with like new furniture snagged from the village dump. Sounds nasty, but we're talking nice quality stuff. They don't want to hassle with moving it or buy all New for the holidays and just trash everything. It's nuts! I suspect this painting was tossed by whoever painted it in art class. It's a nice canvas. 🙃 7y
