Today, I was at a light and a gentleman was homeless and people were giving him little packages, food and cash. I decided to give him what I could, unfortunately it didn‘t amount to much. My husband is working on starting a relationship with our church and the Rescue Mission. He said he was going to ask them if they‘ve seen him in there and if not he‘s going to take him in for hot food and a bed... 👇

Persephone had a good life. She was found inside the engine of a car as a kitten. I met her when I went to adopt a different cat. Once we saw each other, we chose each other. She was my reading, tv watching, everything companion ever since. She liked to sit on my shoulder. Like a parrot. 😸

Today is day 1 of #HaveCourageBeKind November. I wasn't around a ton of people today but I did go kayaking. I made sure to smile and say Hi to every person I passed and I even made a new friend who let me try his paddle board. Anyone else today? Even the smallest act counts
