this book has amazing mouth watering drawings. this is a good book to read to children who are picky eaters.
so-sopicky eaters and young foodies alike will love this tale of frances the finicky badger who refuses to eat anything but bread and jam, morning noon and night. eventually her parents use reverse psychology to convince frances to eat almost anything
I saw (and read to myself) this book at the library and I was so happy. I loved Frances the badger books as a kid. Unfortunately my son refuses most books that aren‘t spooky, gross, or about fierce creatures. It‘s too bad because he‘s a picky eater and could use the lesson from this story.
#HeyJune Frances is a picky eater!!! All she wants is bread and jam...she even makes a song about it. So when mommy badger FINALLY allows Frances to eat ONLY bread and jam it‘s #strawberryfieldsforever but...what if a girl sometimes craves good ole meatballs?!!!?
@DebinHawaii, look what I found while cleaning out my mom's garage! It was passed down through three much older siblings before it made its way to me. You can see that it was well loved!
This is hands down my favorite and best loved book from childhood. My parents bought me a copy for my 5th birthday, then again for my 6th because I had worn out my other copy!! #LIBERTHDAY

And when I got older I learned Russell Hoban is a versatile genius! He also wrote TURTLE DIARY (amazing!), RIDDLEY WALKER (bananapants apocalypsey!), and EMMET OTTER'S JUGBAND CHRISTMAS (!!!!!)! ❤❤❤
After a tiring weekend of...wait for it...errands...we sat around today and didn't do much of anything this evening. Except for make dinner and play Trivial Pursuit on PlayStation.
