My horror binge continues! This cover is stunning, and I've heard only good things about the book. So happy to see another hardworking author get an opportunity with a bigger publisher, and shelf space in the bookshop. 🖤 📚

Penguin sleeping by my side, Paul Tremblay's latest in hand...Sunday night is looking mighty fine. 🐧📚🌙

TFW one of your favourite authors responds to you. 😱 Major fangirl moment for me. I can't recommend this book and author highly enough! 🖤

I'm obsessed with this cover! 💀
Edited to add, the cover is the best thing about the book. After 70 pages, I couldn't bring myself to carry on.

Well, I was going to read. 🤷♀️

Winding down after a long day...book + bestie = bliss

Weekend read. I've been on a horror kick lately. I chalk it up to needing something that makes real life seem a little less grim.

The thing I've missed most during quarantine is browsing bookshops! They're beginning to reopen in my area, so I had to scratch my itch. The Book Loft is doing shopping by appointment, and that's where my day began. Followed by a quick visit to Half Price Books. I can't express how incredible it was to browse (safely) again!! Found some horror paperbacks I've been lusting after, and a couple classic true crime books. What a fantastic day! 😊

This book!! It will make you laugh, chill you to the bone, make your skin crawl, infuriate you, and you'll love every minute of the experience. So bloody good! 🧛♂️ 🍑

Time to revisit old friends. These white covers are perhaps my favourite from my HP collection.

Penguin has his favourite blanky. I have a new book. What more could one need for a perfect Friday evening?! 🥰🐧📚

Happy World Book Day! I'll accept any excuse to dedicate even more time to reading. ? I was a "Book Giver" for a couple of years, and it was a fantastic experience.

My most local indie bookshop, Gramercy Books Bexley, is operating with contactless curbside service, as well as online orders. I was really feeling the walls closing in, so I gave them a call to request my book and hopped in the car for a road trip! I love driving, and it was quite helpful to my mental state. Yay for different scenery! 😊 💞 🚗 📚

If there was ever a time for comfort reading, it's now. I ploughed my way through for the second time, and though I couldn't have imagined it being possible, I loved it even more. This book is sweet and beautiful...just perfect in every way. 💞

Ah, dear Count Rostov hits the proverbial nail on the head in this passage. 💜

Today was a perfect day for surprise book mail. 📚 💞

Hope everyone is keeping well. Penguin is doing his part to keep me sane with cuddles. He even helps hold my book open, haha.

Penguin's idea of a cosy Saturday afternoon is curling up with his favourite blanket, a good book, and then falling asleep. 🥰📚🐧

Guys, the library that employs me has just closed until April 6th. This is unprecedented. I have been ill and in isolation for nine days! I'm going stir crazy, but nevertheless, I shall appreciate my freedom once I'm well. If you need a book whilst in lockdown, Raven Bookstore is offering $1 shipping within the US. Stay home, buy a book from an indie shop, and if you're the one playing Jumanji, for the love of glob, bury the game! 😆

In honour of Molly, here's Penguin. I'm so very sorry for your loss @SumisBooks 💙

Penguin feets and an excellent book...a rather nice way to spend a Saturday morning, don't you think? 🥰

Hidden Valley Road is a fascinating and heartbreaking story of a family with 12 children, 6 of which were diagnosed with schizophrenia. Robert Kolker tells their story with the upmost compassion.

1• No genre in particular. I just read whatever calls to me.
2• My homemade beer bread with butter.

Thanks for the tag @Trashcanman 😊 💛
Consider yourself tagged. 🥰

Sunday morning with my ginger boy and a good read. 💞 🐐🐑🐧

This certainly sums up how I'm feeling about Tell the Wolves I'm Home! 💜

🎶 Saturday night's alright! 🎶 Settling in for a couple hours of my version of self-care.

Friday night with a fantastic book and my fantastic beast, Penguin. 💞

Candles lit for cozy ambiance, kitty sleeping next to me and a new book to get lost in...an ideal evening I think! 🌌

It's nearly over, but I hope everyone had a lovely day! 💙

I love this cover. The wee hen in the distance cracks me up! 🐓

Getting ready for winter! 💖

Gorgeously written Tartan Noir that lives up to its status as a prize winner. Hope there are future offerings featuring D.I. McCormack!

Currently reading 'The Mist' by Stephen King. Last night I drove home, in the dark, in patches of dense fog. This morning it's as thick as pea soup. A big shout out to Mother Nature for helping to make the story extra creepy! 😂

My favourite band, the Black Crowes. I've seen them more times than I can count. Nobody put on a better show. This book is a candid, heartbreaking account of the band, its rise and fall, and everything in between, as told through the eyes of drummer Steve Gorman. Brilliantly written, I loved every word.

Day 2 #7days7covers #covercrush 💞

Happy Birthday to a true legend, and one of my favourites! I saw It Chapter 2 last night, and I'm finally reading The Institute. Looks like I've unintentionally dedicated the weekend to Mr King, haha. #LosersClub #ConstantReader #StephenKing
