My inner geek girl is happy. I found this at the local used bookstore. It was a heck of a lot of fun to see so many childhood favorites all together on one grand adventure. And --- surprise! -- Birdman is not hokey at all, but a serious superhero. #graphicnovels #childhoodfavorites #cartoon #superhero #johnnyquest #spaceghost #birdman

So much fun! An intelligent heroine, a creepy villain, and fossilized treasure lost in the jungles of Borneo. Definitely recommended. Be aware, though, that titles under the Bombshell imprint are atypical romances: the focus is on the female character, and it often takes several novels and love interests before she gets her happily ever after. #actionadventure #romance

A thoroughly enjoyable fairy tale - inspired urban fantasy. Great characters, malicious villains, and a frightening exploration of the impact of fairy tales loosed on an unsuspecting world. I really like the idea that reality as we know it is just the story that won -- at least temporarily, since all of the other stories are still fighting. #fairytale #urbanfantasy #seananmcguire

I should have bailed, but I stuck with it. A paranormal romance with flat characters, no character development, a psychic protagonist who never uses her abilities to any great effect, a villain who wimps out, so many secondary characters that I couldn't keep them all straight, and way too many plot threads. Plus, the main thread is left unresolved, to be picked up by the next romantic couple in the next book. Urgh! #paranormalromance
