Today‘s audiobook 🎧

A few months back, I listened to one of Juliet Blackwell‘s books in this same series, and really enjoyed it, so I‘m excited to listen to this one while I get some errands done today. Annnnnddd by errands, I actually mean go to Chapters and the Thrift Store to look for books 🙈

I‘m shopping for the #cozyswap tonight. To anyone who may be stalking me... pictured are a few mystery books I‘d love to receive.

Question for anyone who may live in a southern state (TN, GA, SC, NC, AL): with the warmer weather there, do you still often use cozy blankets and scarves? Being from North Dakota, I have no reference for warmer climates and don‘t want to send something that won‘t be useful but found a great idea for the theme 🤷‍♀️❄️

wanderinglynn I grew up in TN & yes, we used blankets & scarves. It snows occasionally in TN. Same for NC, particularly in the mountains. 1d
Butterfinger Agree with @wanderinglynn It gets really chilly near the NC coast too. 1d
Megabooks I lived in TN, NC and SC for most of my adult life and definitely used them in fall and winter. I‘m a big believer in gloves, too. And I loved an infinity scarf my boss gave me and would wear it all winter!! 1d
Megabooks But it was a light scarf - cotton/poly blend, not wool. 1d
sblbooks Yes to both, we have all four seasons. I'm from NC. 15h

This book series is Okay.. every book in the series that I‘ve read so far includes the same formula of things... Ghosts+ people having sex + solving the crime. It‘s not super plot heavy and you don‘t need to read the series in order. Perfect book if you just want to waste some time but not feel super invested in a book.

A very enjoyable cozy!!! I loved that this story was set in Salem and that it almost became a character in the book. I loved the characters and where the story took them. I loved the witchy aspect of the story and even though I had figured out the mystery pretty early on it was such a good book! I will for sure be looking into more of this series!!

I didn‘t like this one as much as the first but it was still good. I‘m not into love triangles and this one feels forced. This one has more of a magic focus than the first. #readwomen #audiobook
