Hello Litsy and #BFC friends! I‘ve been mia for a bit now, but this summer has been quite unpredictable so I haven‘t been reading much. I also haven‘t been sticking to my fitness goals, but I have remained very active. We‘ve been walking quite a bit and my ##pokemongo can show you that! We‘ve been going to the park for walks...my legs are sore from going uphill and downhill. 🙂👍🏽
3⭐️——— i prefer this over the first book i thought the storyline was more emotional and better written and I remember what happened throughout the whole book. However i still find it way too gruesome for a kids book. There was less violence in this one but the detail in the few scenes was vivid for the 10 -13 year olds its meant for.
(Letter H) This picture book is about a baby dragon and his mom who seeks out food for him. A humorous play on the children‘s song “Hush Little Baby,” here are a few of my favorite verses: “Here she comes with a fresh magician. Don‘t mind the taste—he‘s good nutrition . . . If Mama finds a mean old queen, Honey, you are lucky—that‘s good cuisine!” If you love dragons, give this a try. #BBRC #A2Z @LibrarianRyan
I listened to this charming, imaginative story on audio, but plan to get a hard copy for the lovely illustrations and to read aloud with my 8-year-old—I think he will love it.
Minli‘s adventure is chock-full of Chinese folktales, colorful characters, and sweet messages. Lots of fun to listen to!
This was my #DiverseMiddleGrade choice for #Booked2019.
Im halfway through this and i actually like it better than the first one. Right now the only thing i have a problem with is that in the first one all the dragonets were part of the story this one they‘ve been thrown into a cave and its all about tsunami.
