Ok friends. My friend is building my staircase landing library and laughed when I said I would need space for a ladder rail. “You know you can reach the top shelf” to which I replied “you will never understand” Can we all agree that having a ladder is one of the most important parts about having a home library?
I can tell this book is going to try to crush me and I‘m going to let it.

pickOk I kind of wish I had read this instead of audio. I felt a bit lost going back and forth between characters. I loved being back in Seoul though.
I liked this except for the side story about the detective. Maybe it was the audio but I hated the language he used. Not in a way that I was offended- I thought it was annoying. I thought it might be an issue of a female author trying to sound like how she thinks men talk to each other? anyone else think that? Am I just getting old???
LOL. So much. If you listen to the steamy parts really fast they sound even more ridiculous.
My friend and I are headed to Boston for the weekend to visit our other friend that lives there so we decided to read this one together. Just wonderful so far. Theme reading at its best!

Is this my greatest accomplishment? Finally done with this brick. Chose the audio version which was great but I only ended up liking the first half- so the remaining 20 plus hours were a slog. Didn‘t find it very scary. Anybody else?

Read this lovely novel about Florida down in South Florida while in one of my favorite coffee shops. I first started this about five years ago when I was walking the Florida trail but my reading was a little all over the place on that trip. Loved it this time through!
