panSuper disappointed in the tagged book. The premise was promising but the execution fell extremely flat. All things considered with the last of the holidays not disappointed. The Devils was a fantastical and hilarious read in a genre that can be heavy at times.

I cannot express how much I loved these two books. Cooke did a phenomenal job and I had no idea its loosely based on true events. Annihilated the Wolf King duet in 24 hours. They were fun reads even with a weaker prose than I typically enjoy.
I am still in the middle of City of Gods & Monsters. Having a tough time it reads very immature so far. From what I know it is a popular series just may not be for me.
