I forgot to post my #12booksof2021 selections for #November & #December As a mood reader it is extremely rare for me to sign on to any challenge but in Nov I surpassed my goal for #nonficttionNovember of 4 NF books by reading 6 & I also met my goal for the delightful #cloakanddaggerchristmas Honorable mentions for Nov/Dec:Vet's Daughter, B is for Burglar, Girl 11, Dear Reader.

vivastory Although my posts turned into more #120booksof2021 I had a blast reflecting on an otherwise grim year. Thanks @andrew65 4mo
RaeLovesToRead Well done on Cloak and Dagger challenge! Hope 2022 is less grim 🤞🤞 4mo
vivastory @RaeLovesToRead How did you do on the challenge? I added a couple of the books you read to my TBR. Thanks! I really appreciate it. I hope you have a great year too. 4mo
RaeLovesToRead I managed 5 prompts in the end (including watching a mystery on TV) - The Honjin Murders was delightfully convoluted and well worth a read, but I didn't think much of the Real Town murders. My bookspin & doublespin this month are mysteries though, so cloak and dagger January begins now 😄📚🎉 4mo
BiblioLitten Now nonfiction November sounds like a good challenge for me. Might try that this year. 4mo

This is my favorite book from #November. A secretive group of women who have all lost children, but whose killers have gone unpunished, dispense their own brand of justice in this page-turner. The ending was 😲!

Andrew65 Already have this one stacked. 4mo

I loved this look at power, privilege and sexual politics written by a young first time novelist.

Andrew65 Good choice. 4mo

CoffeeNBooks @Andrew65 This one and The Shadow of the Wind were my favorites in the series. 4mo
emz711 @CoffeeNBooks @Andrew65 yeah I think Labyrinth might actually be my favorite but the whole series is incredible. City of mist just came out too! 2mo

#12booksof2021 #November @andrew65
I enjoy finding books that I hadn't heard of before and prove to be a bit unusual. Here I saw a post on a crime reading blog about the petrona award winner + it was worth tracking down in the library. 19th century religious fervour in Sweden may not sound compelling but it was a great historical crime story.

Andrew65 Not heard of this one, intrigued! 4mo
charl08 I agree, this one had lots to recommend it. 4mo

My favourite read for #November was the new Josie Silver book, which is published next month. Another brilliant read from this great author. #12Booksof2021 #10thBookof2021

A notable mention for A Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, a great series.

JenReadsAlot I'm looking forward to this one! 4mo
