A picture of firsts! I finished planning my first fall/winter square foot garden bed, and I am now diving into my first Susanna Kearsley novel.

I've been eyeballing her books for so long but I was a bit dense and didn't understand how her books tied together. Discovered that they don't, they're stand alone stories. The publisher marketing team just uses the same cover style on most of her books. 😖

BarbaraTheBibliophage There are a few books that are slightly connected. But they‘d still make sense if you read them as a stand alone. 2h
taraWritesSci @BarbaraTheBibliophage Ah, okay. I'll keep that in mind then. Thanks! 1h

Another solid addition to the series! Though I wish I'd had the time to get through it quicker, the suspects started to blur together so some of the twists weren't as impactful as they could have been with me trying to remember who the person was, haha.

But I'm finally up to double digits with this series! 10 down, 40 to go 🤣

Mollyanna I‘m right there with you! Just finished this one a couple weeks ago. And Book 50 is out! 🤣 10h

A creepy thriller and an excellent read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Really liked that we are able to see Serena do her job as an ME. ☺️

This book series is Okay.. every book in the series that I‘ve read so far includes the same formula of things... Ghosts+ people having sex + solving the crime. It‘s not super plot heavy and you don‘t need to read the series in order. Perfect book if you just want to waste some time but not feel super invested in a book.

After “Stolen Fury”, we have another couple for this story. Peter who thought that the woman he once loved is dead but she appears in front of him when she wanted to steal something from his exhibits. He‘s hurt that she kept quiet all these years and he‘s being a very huge asshole towards her. Packed with actions and Peter assholeness. #romanticsuspense

Love Kearsley books! This is no exception. In some ways requires a little more extension of disbelief, but the Merlin/King Arthur connection is just fun. Honestly, the story without it could have been a little more fleshed out and have been complete by itself (as seems to be the case with her early books), but overall, it was a fun read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

Was a little disappointed that it didn‘t focus on fires but ohswells! It was a fast paced read that had me on the edge of my seat! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ definitely!

TiffanyMichele And I am continuing the series immediately! The mystery and suspense is top notch. (edited) 3d
