Not in the database so putting with another book in the series

This was a good read, with plenty of intrigue and twists. Spent a lot of the book trying to puzzle out what was going on and I actually identified the wrong killer. Not read the earlier ones in the series but still read well, however now I want to go back and read the others. Quite enjoy this authors books.

Book 3 for #JoyousJanuary Book 14 for #JumpStart2022

Surprise! An ancient Fae law means Toby has to hunt down her amnesiac stepfather to invite him to her wedding to avoid an even bigger incident. Easy peasy.

Probs because I finished 13 so recently/loved it so much, but this one was disappointing. Great 2ndary character development, even more world building, but the 2 big things weren‘t really foreshadowed enough for me over 14 books, & the ending was more anticlimactic than I expected. 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

Holiday readathon status.
I'm still not feeling great but I've done the following:
☃️Read for 8 hours so far.
☃️Finished 1 book "Furious Hours"
☃️Accomplished New Year's resolution to advertise book club I'm in (currently virtual) on Meetup. Aptly timed as we are starting the ABC theme of reading around the world with a book from Algeria.

Hooray! I finished a book! (It‘s been a while)

A cosy mystery, I guess, set in a small Russian village, alongside the railway tracks. It is a debut novel, and at times it felt like it (too many words!) but I was in the mood for something a bit lighter and this fit the bill. I liked Olga, despite her being painted as a railway-working saint; I liked the setting; and the set-up for the next book made me laugh (and roll my eyes). A low pick.

rockpools And my first book finished for #joyousjanuary @Andrew65 And am I too late to join #pantonechallenge2022 @Clwojick - I do like playing with colour charts?! Would I need to sign up anywhere? 2h

This made me laugh, I love how hilarious these books are. This time the plot was better; there was action and subplot that was really interesting and now I am actually really eager to know what happens next on the planet Not Hoth.

Started another mystery series, these ones set in medieval England. Loved Brother Cadfael, he's a nice misture of pragmatic, worldly and devout. Also, the medieval monk drama was fun!

First book finished fot #JoyousJanuary

Day 2 - After day 2 of #JoyousJanuary I‘ve finished Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, and am more than halfway through Code Name Verity. Today I‘m hoping to finish that one, and start Searching (and maybe Music is History if I need some audiobook time). @Andrew65
