Simple words combined with detailed illustrations form this story showing the many different ways and circumstances in which a child may show bravery. #bbtc #A2Z:B

I need a new read. I decided it should be one of my (many) unread BOTM books. This list is of the ones I haven‘t read yet. Which would you chose?

BarbaraJean Circe would be my pick! 7mo
Karisa Whew! You like the heavy stuff! I do too. I would go for Circe if you love Greek mythology, Heart's Invisible Furies for pride month, or American War if in the mood for eerie futurism. 😊 7mo

Karisa Oh! Just noticed The Music Shop on there. It's fantastic too. A bit lighter if you need that for summer. Sorry, I'm no help! 🤣 7mo
Nute Wow, that is a wonderful list of books from which to choose. I would pick Circe or The Silent Patient and then all the rest!😂 7mo
Megabooks The Heart‘s Invisible Furies!! 7mo
Megabooks Also Red Clocks is really good! 7mo
BookwormAHN Circe, The Anomaly, The Broken Girls, The English Wife and The Night Tiger were all really good 😸 7mo
Lcsmcat Circe! 7mo

I have NO idea what to read next. My mood isn‘t telling me anything 😬
I pulled these 5 hoping something might stick. They are all pretty different even the two poetry are far different. We shall see.

Colorful, diverse, and inclusive. I really like that the definition of brave is so broad here, meaning smart and kind and helpful. Cute illustrations, too.

Litsy, please HELP! What should I read next? I‘ve narrowed it down to these four:
Mary B (library book)
Snap (library & Man Booker Long List)
Mrs Frisby & the Rats of NIMH (PopSugar 2018)
Wicked & the Wallflower (just because I love Sarah MacLean)

I‘m in a major rut and NEED something to devour. #Bailey is no help. 😂 #dogsoflitsy #pitbullsoflitsy

Meghan1 Mrs. Frisby!! 1y
Aimeesue Mrs. Frisby. One of my childhood faves. ❤️ 1y
La_Cori Mrs. Frisby 🐭 1y

TrishB Snap 😁 1y
crazyspine Mrs Frisby 1y
LeahBergen Read the first page of each and decide which one grabs you. 😄 1y
MaureenMc Gotta go with Sarah MacLean 😊 1y
Owlizabeth My vote is for Sarah MacLean, she always gets me out of a rut. Just be prepared, this one had a slightly slower beginning than her others in my opinion. 1y
Leftcoastzen Bailey is just so cute! 1y
VeganCleopatra I remember loving Mrs Frisby as a child but haven't reread as an adult. But I'm still voting for that one. 1y
JoScho But Bailey is adorable ❤️ 1y
akckitty Wicked and the wallflower but I‘m partial because I just finished Snap and was disappointed 😔 1y
merelybookish Go Wicked! 1y
emtobiasz Kids books always help me out of a rut, so I‘m voting Mrs. Frisby 1y

I started with Mrs. Frisby, but it‘s not working for me tonight, so I switched to Wicked. I think we have a winner...I just stopped here to say thanks! Back to my book, I go!! 1y
DGRachel @Leftcoastzen @JoScho She is a love bug! My heart turns to goo every time I look at her. 😍🐶😍 1y

Help!! This precious little kitten is ripping up my carpet! I know there are lots of cat lovers here so tips to get her to stop are appreciated! #catsoflitsy

JenReadsAlot @peaknit - wanna trade? 😂 1y
AmyG You have scratching things for her? I had a friend who layed down a big piece cardboard for her cat who used to scratch that. I will say....I learned alot about my cat from googling and reading people‘s ideas about issues. Good luck. (edited) 1y
Mitch Oh no! Ours have a cat pile which they ignore and a square of old carpet which is “theirs” which they love. 1y

JenReadsAlot @AmyG they have lots of scratching posts and use them!! I like the idea of a big piece of cardboard. Thanks! 1y
peaknit Ha! Kevin likes to chase us on his back legs and bite our shins and calves!😳 we have been trimming his nails, maybe that would help? 1y
JenReadsAlot @peaknit her nails are trimmed- she's naughty! I read cats don't like citrus so I put a few drops of lemon essential oil on the carpet. 1y
peaknit Woodman‘s has a spray for it as well, we have sprayed it on a chair and it seems to have helped. 1y

#GroupO is looking for a Litten to step in for #LMPBC! One of our members is unable to join in this round, so we thought we‘d see if anyone would like to join last minute!

If you are unfamiliar, it‘s a by mail book club where each member picks a own book and writes notes, highlights, generally marks it up and then sends it along to the next person! We are due to send out the first book by the end of July!

Let me know if you are interested!

parttimedomestic @suvata do you know of anyone who missed sign ups and would like to join? 2y
suvata No but maybe someone will answer your plea. If not, you could always just do it with three people. 2y

parttimedomestic @TheReadingMermaid Litsy Markup Postal Book Club! We each pick a book to share with our group of 4 littens. Each month you read a book and take notes in it, then send it to the next person in the group! It‘s a great way to read books you wouldn‘t usually read! 2y
TheReadingMermaid Can I give it a try? 2y
parttimedomestic @TheReadingMermaid absolutely! 🎉 Send me an email and I‘ll get you all the details! Valerie.lowens@gmail.com 2y
